March 2011
I recently had purchased an older horse trailer with living quarters that needed some TLC. I had a few musts to fix, like a leaky toilet, a propane smell inside the living quarters, a frig that wouldn't get cold enough, trailer brakes that didn't seem to be working, and was interested in possibly purchasing solar panels for longer battery usage. I contacted a few RV repair shops and discussed my needs. When I contacted RV Supply center in Hesperia, and asked about solar panels, which are very expensive, the owner told me that I didn't need them. He went on to discuss battery hook-up and using two 6 volt, instead of one 12 volt to almost double the capacity time, therefore probably deleting my need for expensive solar panels.
I cancelled my appointment that I had made with another company and made an appointment with their store for the next week. I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me something that I possibly didn't need.
Their company was professional, honest, and had reasonable rates. They even gave us a discount on the toilet. My husband had discussed other issues about the trailer and had got more estimates. We ended up having several other things fixed or replaced because we felt that they:
1. could do it
2. gave us reasonable estimates
3. felt that they were honest.
When my trailer was ready, they hooked it up, fixed a blown fuse in my running lights, (that I had taken to the Ford dealer to be fixed and they couldn't find it--some $250.00 dollars later) and sent me on my way. It was freezing cold when I picked up the trailer after work, with the start of snow flurries so I wanted to be on my way home. I didn't take the time to look all through the trailer.
The next morning, my husband and I went out to have a detailed look. I was so impressed by their abilities. My living quarter was spotless. They had done an excellent job of replacing the toilet, and the frig that wasn't working. They even matched the cabinetry around a part of the new frig. AND did a wonderful job of cleaning. It was vacuumed and tidy. That is a plus in my book when you get something back cleaner than when it went in the shop!
My husband and I would recommend their staff and store for repairs. We are very happy with all of the work we had done and the friendly, honest staff of RV Supply Center.
