RIVERSIDE MEMORIAL PARK

To whom it may concern and speaking as a long tine resident in the Jupiter Tequesta area I must say that SCI the owners of Dignity and Riverside Memorial Park should be ashamed of themselves because this cemetery is a disgrace. Roy Rood who I new personally would be rolling over in his grave if he could see the condition of this cemetery now . This is just another example of what happens when a big corporate outfit gets into the funeral biz.The place looks like hell. The markers are all stained from the bad well system they have. The grass is mostly weeds markers are all crooked some cracked, Many of the graves have sunk .The edge of the roads have roots coming up witch is a accident waiting to happen for someone to trip? There is fuel and oil stains threw out all the ash fault road. Most of the large Oak trees look like they haven't been trimmed in years. There is very little $ put into this cemetery now. It seems like the there main priority is to sell plot space and markers !! Some of the privet estate's look even worse. The old Pioneer section is the worst looking I have ever seen it .When Mr. Rood owned this park it was always in beautiful condition he had 4 to 6 full time people working there. Now there is only two maintenance workers its a joke!! Also the cost of plots and interment fees has skyrocketed .Everything in that cemetery cost a fortune. Riverside Memorial Park is very gentle in helping families with an extremely hard decision. The final resting place is still an important decision. Whether you need a grave sight, the mausoleum, or if you want to take care of your own future needs, they are there to assist. This cemetery is located in North Palm Beach County off a very quiet, obscure road, and is extremely private. It is the best of the best, but the costs are fair. I visit the park for many reasons, friends, families, and a to have peace on my family walks. It has been a part of my life for the past 30 years and I cannot remember a day that I do not visit this quiet serene, resting place. more
