Home of United and Nationals 12/30/2005

RFK Stadium, home to DC United and the newly added Nationals, has probably seen its best days. At least, many people say that. To a non-stadium crazy person and someone that is happy to just attend a game and not rate the stadium, I do not see much wrong. The seats are not the best I've seen, but the layout seems like there are many good seats that have good views. The ticket prices are on par with other stadiums and the food options are a bit better than others. more

Take me out to another ball park 11/27/2005

I've been to this place twice and both times, I was dissatisfied, regardless of how the Nats did. I waited in line for food for 3 innings. That was completly unacceptable. The place could be cleaner. The prices for the food were more then you could expect to pay for waiting in line so long. The sound system is outdated. The score board is hard to see. more

Great Baseball Games 8/21/2005

We were lucky enough to be able to attend one of the games during the Nationals inaugural season at RFK Stadium. The stadium is fairly large, and I believe it seats around 56,000 people ... not nearly as big as FedEx Field, but still a decent size. Parking and traffic around the stadium is horrible, of course, so if you live in the area try to take the metro instead. The game itself was a lot of fun ... the Nationals played the Braves and won. Food and drinks are a bit expensive, but that's pretty much to be expected at any sports venue. I'd highly recommend stopping in to see a game if you're in the D.C. area! more
