Stayed the weekend with others from the "spill over" from the Apple Festival in Bayfield. What an unexpected "find". Friendly staff everywhere; at the desk, in the pub, "Pete's Place" and at breakfast the next AM, (great omelettes). Very clean and comfortable everywhere from the lobby to our rooms. I'm thinking it looks like a fun place to take a snowmobiling group this winter, informal, friendly, great pool and whirlpool, good food and fun in the pub. Highly recommended. I will return anytime I'm in the area alone or with a group.
