I miss Cajun cooking. Some of my favorite spots include Jacques-Imo's in downtown New Orleans, Boudin King in Jennings, LA, and the humble Boudin Shop in Cecilia, LA. These iconic celebrations of the best mix of meat, spices, and vegetables on the planet seem so far away from me down in the heart of DC (where Bardia's does not offer me solace). So one can imagine my delight upon hearing that not only was their a Cajun spot in nearby Alexandria, VA, but that it also had a two entree special plus a bottle of wine for $30. I had to check it out.
It was awesome.
Pros: great value
Cons: nothing
