Snippy, unprofessional receptionist made a very bad first impression for this salon. The salon is fine but that receptionist would need to go before I would ever consider going back. more

I truly enjoyed my experience at R Salon from beginning to end.The salon itself is beautiful and the stylists are very friendly and sociable creating a really upbeat environment.Scott-at R Salon was very knowledgeable and eased my nerves about getting a haircut immediately.He did a fantastic job....best cut Ive ever had! more

Beautifully chic salon you can walk to in the village of Webster...which finally has some desirable shops, restaurants and convenient parking as well. Entering R salon is an aesthetic treat for the senses. So nice to see some really high end, contemporary design in a hair salon (i.e. the chairs, mirrors, sinks...all wow!). Offered a drink upon entry with lots of welcoming ""hellos"" and an obvious respect for environmentally friendly products and recycling programs. In an unhurried atmosphere, I was given exactly what I envisioned in a precision, fall-into-place haircut. Also was extremely impressed watching another middle-aged woman get a fantastic short cut that is fashionably off the cover of magazines! I've tried nearly every salon in the area and Deanna at r Salon is the best! And at the most affordable price. I'm so thankful to have finally found someone who knows how to layer hair. I think I actually prefer her maintenence-free cut to that of my long-time Newbury Street stylist in Boston. They even do scalp massages like they did at my Boston salon. And I'm thrilled that r Salon is now in Webster. So give r Salon a try - your hair and your wallet will thank you! Pros: Skilled stylists who listen, scalp massages, price, location Cons: none! more

I am originaly from a large city and the moment I stepped into R Salon I felt like I was in a big city salon. It was very clean and stylish and staff was immediately friendly. I sat down in the chair and had along discussion about what to do with my hair and my stylist gave me incredible feedback and reasons why or why not something would be good for my hair type. We talked like old friends while she was coloring and cutting my hair and made me feel very welcome. As I was sitting in the chair I met the owner who had an incrediible resume. I walked into that salon with a poof ball around my head: and walked out with sleek modern hair that I can easily do at home, a new stylist and some new friends! I highly recommend R Salon! Pros: The great hair tips! Cons: Don't park at the pizza shop. They will tow you even though they had a HUGE parking lot. more
