I would highly recomend R & J Enterprises to any and everyone who is out there. From this man, my family and I have purchased 4 cars ranging any where from a truck to a mini van, still have all four cars today and haven't had to put any money into the vehicles besides regular maintenace, The first purchased car was back in 2009 and just recently bought the latest one 3 months ago, anytime I have anything go wrong with the vehicle or hear a funny sound ( which either was brakes or roters) I would stop by and most of the time it was fixed same day within a few hours, in which is very rare due to the fact he is very busy and has multiple cars in shop already working on, all vehicles owned have had either rebuilt motor or brand new motors put in, I can honestly say I have had no problems with the mechanic work that was put into the car by him reguarding the engine motor.. NONE Also other work I have maintained in the car he has done has always been honest and the best price I could find anywhere near or around Austin and trust me in all the 15 years of driving and owning cars I have looked and paid and been ripped off so many times it makes a person sick. I am very greatful to have found a mechanic that I can actually trust knowing I am not going to get ripped off and the job will be done right at the fairest price. I have 4 children of my own and travel well over 35,000 miles a year seeing family across states, so safety is a very big issue and he has made sure all vehicles are safe when I drive off his lot. I'm not saying he's a perfect timing mechanic at all times but he is the closest, honest, and right price for the work that has to be done. He has gauranteed each vehicle when I drove off and has kept his word all these years and I have yet to be disappointed. So I was very shocked when I had to look up his number (due to loosiong all contacts in my phone) and see the ridiculous slander comments posted that are untrue and misleading, I just had to share my experiences I have had with R & J Enterprises. more

I bought a vehicle from this man in late october. im 18 years old my very first vehicle. i recently messed up my car and it needed to go to the shop. i get a call a couple days later and the mechanic i went to at alexander auto and body told me the vehicle had been wrecked before and instead of putting new parts on Rusty just welded the parts back on. My car was a death trap the mechanic told me if i were to get in even the smallest head on collision i would have probably been killed. so think about this before you even think of shopping for a vehicle there. this man is a con artist and terrible person who just wants money. more

after calling shop after shop, trying to find someone who know what they were talking about i decided to take friends advice and try r & j enterprises. BEST DECISION I COULD'VE MADE! I gave rusty a call and told him to condition of my car and what it was doing when i drove it. He told me what he thought it could be and gave me an estimate of whst it would cost to fix it. when we hung up the phone i brought the car to him so he could look at it , sure enough he was right about what was wrong. and when the job was done i was greatly satisfied, my car ran like new, and it ended up costing less than what was quoted, since then i have continued to bring all of our business here.. i will never take my car to anyone else. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE! HE IS A VERY SKILLED MECHANIC WHO KNOWS HIS STUFF! the R & J enterprises that i dealt with was located at 5010 west sh 29 georgetown, texas 78628. The shop is owned by rusty shafer. This mechanic is slow and can never quite finish a job. Ha always lacks one thing or another when it is time to pick the vehicle up. When his obivious mistakes are pointed out he always try to make up an excuse. The man has no integrity or word to his name. he also is a big time procratenator, Everything is left to be done at the last minute and in a hurry so he can get paid out. Which then brings up another issue he is very reluctant to issue out receipts and or warranties once u drive off u r on your own. Please be careful when dealing with this individual. he may be a mechanic of sorts but has no idea how to run a business or keep his word. how could a person like this be allowed to continue working on his own when all he does is get over on people. please be careful more

Be careful when dealing with this bussiness! Tells you one thing upfront and then changes a lot....always cost more and more in the end. His mistake will cost you dearly. Quotes do not mean anything upfront from them. more
