Good: Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about our experience with R&D Boat Supply or the owner, Ken Daniel.. Bad: Mr. Daniel's lack of professionalism, excessive and unreasonable charges, failure to provide estimate when requested, refusal to itemize the hours for work performed or detail parts that we were charged for--invoice was very generic and vague, refused to give us our boat when we offered to pay his ridiculous bill and sever our business relationship...I could go on..... Improvements: He should give each customer a written estimate. He professes to have been in business over 20 years, but still can't specifically tell a customer how many hours it takes to complete an oil change?? He can't tell a customer how long it takes for him to flush fluids on a relatively small (24 ft) I/O? What's so complicated??? He needs to be less predatory with his business practices and less arrogant with consumers when they question a bill that's three times what they anticipated.. Other: Beware! If you indicate you are dissatisfied with his service in any way he will forbid you to use a credit card and demand "cash only" to receive your property. He specifically told us we could not pay our $1258.00 bogus bill with MasterCard or Visa because he
anticipated that we would report his fraudulent charges and "he didn't want to have to justify anything.".
