R C Hobbies

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service that I reciently recieved during a visit to this establishment. I purchased a gearbox about 3 months ago which I intended to use with an aircraft brushless motor setup. I was having difficulty mounting the gearbox so i brought it and the airplane into the store and asked the owner for advice. He identified the problem as being a defective unit which he replaced free of charge. Not only that, he installed the unit on my airplane while I watched. I don't think you can ask for much better service than that! I will definitely continue shopping at this establishment for future RC related supplies. more

Great place, very helpful. Never been dissatisfied. Have always been willing to take the time to explain things to myself and my son. more

I only dabble in RC, but every time I have needed a new model, repair parts, or advice these people have provided everything I needed. I am ashamed to say that I probably have more stick time on their simulator than I have on my own transmitters and they still give me the same courtesy and expertise as customers that spend several dozen times what I have spent there. more

Fantastic store! We were visiting Huntsville and our son's remote control car had a broken part. We bought the part to fix the car, but when we couldn't complete it ourselves, we took it back to the store and they helped us out free of charge. The car is working perfectly now. It's nice to know that there are businesses out there that are truly about the customers and not just about the dollars! more

I cannot say enough great things about this store. I bought my son an RC car for Christmas and within 3 days (after a lot of jumping it from a ramp) the car broke a shock and motor housing. I had no idea how to fix it, but was going to give it a try. After 2 employees assisted me in finding the parts I needed, I intended to go home and start working on it. However, the gentleman who was helping me must have saw the confusion on my face because he just stated "Let's get this thing fixed up." and started tearing the car down to replace the parts. By the time it was better than new, 3 people had come over to help fix my son's RC car; the owner of the shop even came over and pitched in.\r \r Did I mention that they did this without charging me? Incredible, but true. I certainly would have gladly paid for their help in fixing the car, but they didn't ask for a penny.\r \r I cannot be more appreciative or impressed with RC Hobbies. I will unhesitatingly continue to shop and buy from RC H more

Rick has been serving the hobby community for 20 plus years now, not to mention the morotcycle enthisuast before that! He has the best shop in an 200 mile raduis. He has or can order anything you need. His prices are at or below mail order, so why bother ordering? RCHobbies has supported the local RC airplane club Rocket Ciry Radio Controllers for as long a i can remember. \r If you have had problems with service, look around? I would venture to guess that there were a lot of customers in the shop, like 15 or 20 or more,and the employees were busy. more

What a store!!!! I have never been in a hobby store this big! I came from a city where there are no hobby stores left. I came in the day after Thanksgiving, and I couldn't believe the crowd ! Wow! I asked for some help with r/c helicopters and could not believe how knowledgeable the young man that helped me was. I will tell all my friends about this shop! R/C Hobbies thanks for being here!! more

I was told about this store from a friend. I came in with my sons r/c truck that was purchased in another local hobby store. My son had broken the truck and it was in need of repair. The owner was kind enough to repair it while I waited and only charged me for the part! These guys are fantastic! They have a customer for life!! more

I must agree with Spencer above...the owner and his wife are two of the rudest a'holes I have ever dealt with. I have purchased 5 r/c aircraft from them over the years, and countless parts. Today is the straw though, I will no longer spend my money at this shop.\r I will say that the hired staff has been friendly and helpful, some very much so. But today, during checkout, the owner's miserable wife interrupted me, grumbled, slapped my receipt down on the counter and walked away without so much as a thanks.\r I sincerely hope that others who have been treated this way will take action. more

The rudest people I have ever doubt with. They act like you are bothering them when you ask them a question. If you go in there you better know what you want and all about it because they have more important things to do than worry about a customers problems. This from years of dealing with them. Unfortunatly they are the only game in town. They do have a huge selection. more

RC Hobbies is fantastic. They offer model airplanes, trucks, cars, and anything in between. Their selection of model paints and parts is unbeatable, and the staff is extremely well-informed. They have a race track for trucks and cars right next door so you can test out your new RC car or truck. Check this incredible store out! more
