R Bar & Grill

Stopped in the last few weeks three times because I heard the old owners had taken it back. Might be back to the old owners but the bartenders are still FAT and UGLY!! When I like to enjoy a beer, I like to enjoy it looking at some nice eye candy. Are they getting a whole new crew of employees? I'll stop by in a few months and see if they have employed some hotter chicks....yuck! more

I likes this bar a lot for a long time and considered it a venerable West Dundee instituion. Recent owner Ernie is a hard worker and is well thought of by friends of mine but he and I never hit it off. I preferred the fun bar to the night spot, like the juke box better than the dance tracks, and really liked the pre-Ernie staff. Well, I heard the old owner, Stan, is coming back at the end of this month. I'll drop by and see if he's able to restore the old ambience. more

I've held my husband's birthday in their second floor lounge twice and each time, we've had a blast. The service has been great and they've accomodated our needs for food and music quite nicely. Pros: Wonderful Service, Best Drink Prices in the area more

there is nothing special about this bar. people meet there to cheat on their husbands and wives.everyone in dundee knows who I am talking about.They broke up two marriages ,one of 25 years and one of 20 years.they are hiding out in east dundee,because they cant face anyone.it is true what people say,that evil and the devil live among us, because they truly are that.Let D and K live in hell forever. This bar is nasty its dirty and smelly. The new owners really ruined this bar. It used to be the place to go but not anymore. Avoid it as much as you can. Its very getto. The bartenders are really old or fat. What happened to the good looking bartenders that used to work there they were really good bartenders on top of it. These ones are really slow. The food stinks too and they have so dirty cooks back there. SCARY. The new owner thinks he is the coolest guy ever but hes not hes just a dirty little mexi. The bathrooms are so nasty and they smell. I heard that the new owner used to be the DJ well he should have stuck to it cause he has no bussiness running a bar he ruined this one and he is so rude. His wife or girlfriend whatever she is is ok but you can tell that she dont like pretty girls or she is intimidated by them cause she is rude to pretty girls and you should see their bartenders. There is a couple of bartenders who have been there for a while who are pretty and awsome and there good bartenders but not these new ones they are nasty and horrible servce.
