I wish I didn't even have to give them one star. IS there a negative star option? I decided to use qwest for my internet. I was told I was going to be getting a rebate for a year and my internet should only cost 30 a month and then i was bundling with direct TV and their services were 55 a month. So together is was 85 a month. 3 months in my bill from quest is over 150 dollars! I called multiple times to ask and no one would ever give me a straight answer. Just that a manager would call me back. I am a very busy mom who works full time and goes to school at night so i let it go because it was easier than cancelling and getting with someone new. But then about 4 months in my internet stopped working, DURING MIDTERMS. I called their technical support multiple times to get the problem fixed and they AGAIN could never give me a straight answer why it wouldn't work but they always scheduled a tech to come out. Their time windows are like 6 hours so I had to take time off work. The first and only time a tech was actually on time he didnt even come inside and look at my modem (which is what the tehc support on the phone said was the problem). He played with some wires outside, said it was fixed, didnt stick around to make sure it worked and left. It did work, for an HOUR. And every single time after that their tech was late so i had to leave. I made FIVE appointments after that and NOT ONE was ever on time! and every single time I took time off of work! Then finals came and i had to hire a sitter (i''m a single mom) to watch my daughter so that I could go to the library and use their internet since mine hadn't worked in almost 6 months! By this time I was so fed up, whenever my internet didn't work i literally cried I was so frusterated. So i decided it was time to just be done and get my money back. In the span of a week I called qwest three times asking for a manager. Each time I was put on hold 16, 14, and then 18 minutes before I finally hung up. Neither of those times did i ever actually talk to a manger. Finally I called and gave this poor service rep hell (what else could i do? no one was caring about my problem) he finally got me to escalations (after 8 minutes of holding) and I talked to a woman named Brittany. She was the rudest woman I have ever spoken to in my life. She did give me a small refund but I had been using qwest for over a year at this point, paying 150 a month when I should have been paying 85, not getting any actual service and I had lost an inordinate amouont of money and time from taking time off work, driving to the library, getting a sitter, etc. Brittany told me she could give me 130 dollars back and that was it. When i told her that was unacceptable she said ""Well, that's all you're getting."" I told her I needed to speak to a manager and she said that she was the highest person there and there was no one over her. My advice to qwest, get someone in charge of Brittany! She's a witch! And your service is awful! I've already talked 4 of my friends out of using you! and trust me, there will be more!
