At first glance you might walk into a Quiznos and say "Oh, another Subway Sub place just a different name." Let me assure you, this is not the case. While they are a bit more pricey than some sub shops I really do believe they are well worth the price.
Not only do they offer top notch ingredients they really do offer a very nice sized 'regular' sub and considering the quality and size, well worth the money.
Recently they were running a beef brisket (bbq) and locally for $6.99 you got a slow roasted beef brisket, topped with cheddar cheese and a touch of bbq sauce. There was so much meat on the sandwich (they say it's a double helping of meat) that you truly had a tough time getting your mouth around it. Now for $7 that is not a bad deal!!!!!
Also on the menu are standard subs, chicken subs (so many styles that it's amazing) and various other types. They also offer fresh soup, salads on a flat bread which looked very good and another new product that boasted baked bread bowls stuffed with some pretty yummy sounding stuff. They had the beef and cheddar stuffed bowl topped with chili and baked. They had 2 varieties of chicken also, one topped with broccoli and cheese and the other one I can't remember but they sounded awesome. Again, for the size and contents, fairly priced at about $6 each.
I would definitely give them a try if you haven't stopped by Quiznos yet. And even if you have, try them again with another style of sandwich. I think you'll be surprised. They offer very, very clean stores, nice service, fair prices. And now there are more than the Summit Quiznos to stop in at also! Off hand I know of one on State Street (5th) and one at 38th & Peach in the plaza behind Country Fair.
