Great Food and ""Big Girls"" 6/8/2005

Quintons has excellent sandwiches and breadbowl soups for a reasonable $7 that is very filling. Alot of my friends also love the JUMBO baked potatoes. Weekends feature Big Girl Beers for $2 and they have a good variety of beers on tap. I recommend getting the Lorraine Sandwich, very tasty. Their martini menu is quite extensive although a bit pricey if you aren't their on the right night. It can get a bit crowded late at night. They also have a patio you can eat on when the weather is nice. Pros: Sandwiches, Soups, Big Girls!! more

Quinton's has a variety of good beers on tap, as well as superb bacon cheddar potato soup. Get the $7 breadbowl soup/ half sandwich/bag of chips combo and wash it down with some Boulevard ""Big Girl"" beers, which are frequently on special. ""Martini Mondays"" don't harm anyone either. The music is great, which you can't say about a lot of places in Iowa City, so check out the jukebox too. Pros: Laid back, Great music more
