Quilters Square

Quilter's Square is a great store. They sell only top quality fabric and sewing machines (Bernina). They are very helpful. They have a large selection of books, notions, patterns, fabric, etc. If they don't have what you need, they will order it for you. Wonderful!!!!! more

I think quilters square is the best of quilt shops, they have what you want, patterns, books, classes, if they don't have it ,they will help you get it,they are helpful with helping you choose the fabric to make a quilt or whatever you plan to make, more

Quilter's Square has lots of fabric, books, notions, awesome Bernina sewing machines. You name it, they have it!! I found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend it! more

Quilter's Square admittedly does carry a nice, large selection of fabric compared to most quilt shops in Lexington. However, their prices relatively high compared to other places, and it's a mixed bag in terms of the staff. Some of the people that work there are extraordinarily nice and helpful, especially the mechanics who work on sewing machines. But some of the other people who work there are unhelpful and make you feel like an outsider. I have been quilting for years and consider myself to be quite experienced, but I feel that to get treated the same as the "regulars" I have to prove myself, which I don't believe should be necessary. A friendly environment should be a part of every quilt shop, in my opinion, and this shop lacks that experience at times. more

One of the few quilt shops in town that carry a good selection of quality fabric for quilting. They also carry accessories and offer classes as well as a block of the month club. Sign up for their newletter so you are alerted about any sales they may have coming up. Their pricing is kind of high and their employees are not very friendly or accommodating if you are not a regualr shopper . more

Quilters Square is the only Quilt Shop in Lexington. It doesn't have quite the selection of some of the larger quilt stores in the state but the selection is quite nice. Again their selection of books and projects is somewhat limited but the variety is nice, The clerks are very helpful and they offer a variety of classes. I only wish the store was twice as big. more

Sign up for their newsletter to receive information about upcoming sales and classes. I believe they also have a quilt block of the month club, and an ongoing class for beginners. This is a large store, and the amount and variety of fabrics boggles the mind.
