Gummy Worms 9/7/2010

I rechecked out of the store recently because daily news voted it the best health food store in Queens. The grocery selection was okay and the prices are reasonable. But really the most interesting part about the store is their the vitamin section. I found things I never saw before like omaga-3 gummy worms for my kids and I think it was cheaper than whole foods. The parking is a bit of a pain but I'd come back to pick up vitamins. more

Fantastic Shop 10/8/2008

Large, fun organic health food store (There are two floors in addition to a cafe). You can find pretty much everything here. It gets really busy during the weekends. more

Little Wonder 9/22/2008

My friend had recommended me to the QHE. I must say that I wasn't impressed by the outside but boy, I was totally blown away by the size and quality of the store inside! I am a bit of a health food nut so I was like a little kid in a candy store (I know that's an ironic analogy). The prices are very fair and the everyday products like organic milk and eggs are among the cheapest in NY. They also carry some hard to find organic goodies for my kid. I wish they would open a branch in Long Island so I wouldn't have drive 30 mintues into Queens -- but given the value and variety, I can deal with that once a week. more

Nice Selection 9/20/2008

I really like the selection at QHE. In some categories, the variety is better than Whole Foods. My kids really like the organic treats. Really nice people at the store. The vitamin lady was very knowledgeable. more

Nice Health Food Store 9/20/2008

The store has a very nice and large selection of products (I think it's actually nicer than Whole Foods). Most importanly, I like the people who shop there -- i.e. normal people who wants to be healthy instead of yuppies who thinks its chic to be organic. Pros: Nice Selection Cons: Tough Parking more

Employees-Bad and offensive 6/14/2008

Be carefule about the price charged by the cashiers. Manytimes the price on the self is lower than the price charged by the cashier on the counter. It is very difficult to deal with the eployee as no one listens to the manager who is non-oriental while employees are oriental. more

this is a great hjealth food store 5/17/2006

It is a big place they have a frozen food area, fresh vegetables, canned and box items, books, vitamins ,herbs, etc..When my son was allergic to soy and milk I would buy the rice dream , milk and ice cream there. They have a good variety and the staff is very helpful,. This is a good place to check out , they also run sales every week on certain items. more

Huge Health food store 9/16/2005

This place is so large. It has everything you can think of for your health food/vitamin needs. They have organic baby food, other health food bars, vitamins etc. It is conveniently located right on Horace Harding West. There is parking on the street. If you are health food nut you must check this place out. more
