Extraordinarily Creative Flowers and Designs at Fantastic Prices-unsurpassable! 5/9/2008

I have been going to Queens Garden Flower Shop for all of my needs- Wedding Flowers (Out of this world!!!!), birthdays, babies, other special occassions, and simply some fresh cut flowers for my home!!! I am always amazed at how fresh the flowers are- they last forever it seems! And the designs- always stunning and creative!! Sometimes I tell them what I am looking for and sometimes I tell them to surprise me....well I am always surprised at how beautiful flowers could look when they are done with them! The staff is so friendly and accomodating- not to mention the fact that they are professional artists with flowers! Just incredible. Regardless of the occassion, I always go to Queens Garden and always will. I highly recommend them- you will not be disappointed....you will just be incredibly happy with everything you get- the service and the flowers arrangements!! Pros: fresh flowers, creative unique designs, fantastic prices Cons: only in Queens (for the moment I hope!!) more

Best Flowers and Designs you will find! 5/2/2008

Queens Garden Florist is truely a hidden gem. The quality of flowers and designs will knock you away. The designs are unique and diffenent each time you go. Each design is a masterpiece. This flower shop belongs on Madison Ave except, that it has Queens prices. What more can you ask for.The staff is extremly friendly and accomodating and will work with you to make something extraordinary to fit into your budget. It's a MUST try! Pros: Beautiful selections and Designs with Reasonable Prices! Cons: They Need a Location in NYC too! more

Nice shop 3/13/2006

Dragons Den Florist is a top of the line florist. They also offer beautiful nautical gifts. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I find their prices to be a little steep but they're perfect if you're looking for a unique gift. PROS: Nice shopping experience CONS: bit on the pricey side more

    From a single bud, to a small bunch to an abundant arrangement, just a little extra care can make a big difference. Most floral arrangements last from 4 to 7 days, depending on the types of flowers used and the type of care they receive. Here are some specific tips to keep your flowers looking beautiful!

    Floral Arrangements:

    Keep the vase filled or floral foam soaked with water containing a flower food. If the flower food solution becomes cloudy, replace it entirely. If possible, re-cut stems by removing one to two inches with a sharp knife. Use warm water when adding water to the vase or refilling it. Keep flowers in a cool spot of no mores than 65 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit and away from direct sunlight. Avoid heating or cooling vents, areas directly under ceiling fans or on top of televisions or radiators.
