Best comic store in Cincinnati 10/1/2008

If you live in Cincinnati and a comic fan you're fortunate enough to have three stores in the area (among others). I see those ""big three"" as Queen City Comics (with two locations), Up Up & Away Comics in Cheviot (formerly Comic Book World) & Rockin Rooster. Although I don't buy comics as much as I used to, Queen City Comics in Fairfield was my best best. The staff was always very friendly whether it be comic-related or just shooting the breeze, and the store is just much bigger than the others. more

Service? 9/15/2008

The comics are organized in a fairly coherent way. One could find comics if one spends enough time there. Service on the other hand is below average. The workers are loud and unfriendly. They worry and conduct their personal business in an obtrusive manner. Their customer service ability is virtually nil. more

At least I can see the selection... 7/9/2002

Store is brighter than the shop on Montgomery Road by far. Comics is separated in a fairly organized manner that makes it easy enough for someone who knows what they are looking for to find. Woe to the new customer who asks for help. You will find poor service. I have actually had two of the workers argue over a question I asked in front of me. Again, this is the best out of both location, but lots more improvement is needed. more
