I was referred to Art by a friend who does business with him on a regular basis. As a woman, I am always worried that I am going to be ""taken for a ride"" by people in the automotive industry. I have to say that my experience was the absolute opposite. Art and his staff did everything they said they were going to do and did it timely and in the most cost effective (for me) manner possible. I have and I will continue to send people to Quality Transmission. \r more

Without question, My favorite thing about Quality Transmission is the quality of work they do in such a short period of time. A lot of work needed to be done on my vehicle and I thought it was going to cost a fortune and take forever, but it was the opposite. Two other shops told me that I needed to spend over $1000.00 to get the problems fixed. Quality diagnosed the problem to be a ground wire corroded, they cleaned the ground . It was very affordable and was finished so much faster then I thought it could be. I was willing to spend a lot more money than I had to, Art said with the correct diagnosis my problems would be solved and I didn't have to spend ,so much money. I got out of there for under $200. After that happened, anytime someone asks me for a referral, I will send them here. I spoke with some friends that I referred here and they were pleased with the service and price. Quality Transmission got us back on the road same day, our Tahoe lost the transmission and Art promised to have us on the road for Thanksgiving dinner in LA in time. They have transmissions in stock I guess and nobody else could get us taken care of. The price was reasonable and in the same price range as those who were going to take several days. Thanks Quality Team for getting us on the road to our family gathering. I feel like Art is already part of the family, He explained things to us, offered a great warranty, and gave us a ride to and from home. Yea I know we paid them money to do a job, but Art really is a great businessman. we are more than comfortable taking our cars to Quality Transmissions and they do more than just transmissions. 2005 Jetta 9/3/2012

Top of the line provider, I have a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen wants $5200.00 to repair it and I got it fixed for $1500 less at Quality with five times the warranty. I just don't get Volkswagen they acted like it happens all the time. At Quality Art took care of me and got me back on the road for my mothers birthday in Seattle with out a hitch now that I'm back I have time to leave this note. Looking for the best been there done that 3/23/2012

The only transmission shop in town that will bend over backwards to help good people get back on the road. Art came highly recommended from another shop I have taken my vehicles to for years and that has been in business in Fresno for. After calling around town, Quality was the also the only transmission shop that could complete a rebuild in less than a week.I have a 2005 NEW BEETLE, nobody else holds a candle to these guys. more

Cream of the Crop 11/22/2011

My soon to be son in law and I stopped in to get his Honda repaired. Art was great and most helpful, While having to get a major vehicle repair completed Art was very helpful and informative. We went to a few others and needless to say Quality is our CHOICE and I am pleased to say that after doing research I found that Quality is very well liked by their customers and I likewise am very pleased with the kind of service (not necessary about needing the service though) Art gave through0ut the process. Truly Honest 11/7/2011

World class to say the least. Most excellent service from Art and his crew. I took my Honda to another really well known shop close to my house and they said I needed a transmission. Then my neighbor told me that Quality Transmission was a great option so I called and got my Civic towed in. WELL WELL! turns out I needed shift cables for the Civic and those other guys were going to put the screws to me. Quality is where you should take your car for Transmission problems. I'm spreading the word every where I can. more

FANTASTIC Service!!! 6/20/2011

It is rare that one finds great service these days. In fact my mentor once took me aside and suggested that many are the parts changers-tradesmen but few and far between are the Craftsmen. Quality Transmission has Truly CRAFTSMEN on staff. From Travis in the office and on the phone to the guys in the back(I don't know their names). I've taken my cars to one of Fresno's best known shops for years but having found Quality I will direct all my friends toward this FANTASTIC shop. And suggest that you try them out you will be pleased. more

Where have all the honest mechanics GONE? 6/1/2011

BEST Volvo Service in the Central Valley I've been to my fair share of Volvo Dealerships for service and this is hands down the best service I've ever gotten on any of my cars (Volvo and Non-Volvo). I originally came from Fresno Volvo (worst mistake of my service history for my car), . I can't say enough bad things about Fresno Volvo to fit here, but I can say double the wonderful for Quality Transmissions about the service they've provided me. Fresno Volvo wanted $4750.00 and I got out the door at Quality for under $1800.00 Turns out I didn't need a transmission after all. P.S. the $1800 included struts. and a mass airflow sensor Thank you Art and Jaime and the rest of the Quality gang for your wonderful work and your lovely charm and witt! more

Ok! So Art was awesome, from the first time I talked to him about my problems he towed my Silverado into the shop and paid for the tow, repaired my transmission with a price better than Michael Chevrolet and a better Warranty. I also got back on the road to LA in less than 2 days. I needed financing and was helped there too. I just have this to say Quality Transmission is the greatest. I know Art cares.
