Quality Inn University

Not only is this place close to UF, it satisfies all my criteria: safe. clean, and convenient. Also cheap and has free breakfast. more

We were visiting University of Florida for a ceremony and it was our first time there. I booked this hotel based on reviews and the pics I've seen on this site. To my surprise, the rooms were just like the pics. Everything was clean, the beds comfortable (with the softest pillows ever!) The staff was so friendly! They made sure we had adjoining rooms with our fellow travelers (they were really impressed too) so we can all be together. At breakfast they had a very big assortment of food and drinks (even eggs and sausage to my surprise). They had a waffle maker so you can even make your own waffles (very good by the way!). The prices were great. Pet friendly. Very close to restaurants and stores. We had a great time and I would definitely stay there again. more

This is a good hotel. we stayed here for gator growl and the football game. The bathrooms are huge....they are built for normal people. The continental breakfast was good.....I would definitely stay here again. more

We sought an inexpensive property for an overnight as my daughter was taking a campus tour at UF. We were extremely pleased with this motel. It was clean, well kept and the service fine. more

I stayed here one night while on business, and was more than satisfied. According to the clerk, they recently renovated in preparation to convert to a Quality Inn brand. The paint and tile in the room looked brand-new, and everything else, while not new, was in good shape. I had a comfortable bed, got a good night's sleep, and a good shower. more

rooms were clean, microwave and refrigerator in the room, free internet. They had no problem with my dog and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay there again. more

My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn for a weekend. We came to Gainesville to watch my Son who was studying at University of Florida. The hotel is wonderful. Check in was a speedy. They have free wireless internet access in the rooms. I was able to log on with my lap top very easily and it was very fast. The room was very clean; the bed was very comfortable with clean fresh linens. The bathroom was clean and the shower temperature was great with very good water pressure. The continental breakfast was very good. The service by the front desk staff was impeccable. They were all young, but very skilled and trained in providing quality customer service. All of the staff members were knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an economical, clean, nice play to stay! Pros: null Cons: null more
