After staying at four different Holiday Inn Express hotels around the Southwest region over the last week, I've become accustomed to having a nice selection of breakfast items. There were no cinnamon rolls as the Citysearch review claims. To sum up the breakfast pretty shortly: apples, muffins with too much sugar, oatmeal, fruit loops, raisin bran, frosted flakes, bread slices (looked stale), plain bagels, coffee, juice, milk. Now, thanks to this hotel, I will think twice before going to a Holiday Inn Express AND I have to go find myself some protein for this long drive ahead of me. \r

The room was nice and clean and I'm always satisfied with the bath provisions. The doors have nothing in the way of muffling the sound of people that slam their doors. I was awoken several times starting around 7 am. The water pressure was a little lacking and the single fluorescent light in the bathroom is not quite bright enough. The TV does not have any interactive guide or movie ordering console. It was nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave. The internet was slow-speed at best, not high-speed. I got about 30 - 50 KB/sec (200 Kb/sec) during my stay.
Pros: Fridge, Microwave, Pool, Jaccuzi
Cons: High-carb breakfast (no protein), loud door closing, no movies, slow internet
