I had the pleasure of once again staying at the Quality Inn. Unon entering the lobby, I was immediately greeted by Richard who was on duty. It made me felt welcomed to be greeted in such a manner. After letting me know what rooms were available to choose from, Richard had me checked in within just a few minutes. I appreciated that very much becasue I had just driven from Columbia, SC and was ready to just relax for a while. I went into the room and was very impressed and pleased with the cleanliness of the room and nice aroma. Everything was neat and you get the feel of home when you stay there. The microwave and fridge were both clean. What I also like about the Quality Inn is the location. You have a variety of places to dine, there are a number of gas stations nearby and for me who loves to shop, there are plenty, plenty of places to shop. There is a Walmart also nearby and a variety of other places to shop that you can choose from. I will definitely stay at this location again. more

Excellent quality for the price. The room was clean and smelled good (very important!). Front desk staff was friendly even though they were very busy. Breakfast was good. Location was also good, with several other hotels close-by. Great location--close to convention center and an easy hop onto the highway to get to downtown Charleston. I would definitely stay there again. more

I'm on the road 90 - 100 nights a year for business. I like QI because I can often park in front of the door. This hotel caters to many of the ""worker"" types in addition to families, but in about 30 nights at this location in the last year, all quiet - no problems. more

We have stayed here for a night when we were at Charleston, its half an hour to the Isle of palms beach and Tidal wave water sports. It provides breakfast and the room was clean and comfortable for a good sleep.Will recommend this for stay. more

I have stayed in this property on many occasions on business trips to North Charleston. I do 125-plus nights per year on the road. I was impressed enough during previous visits to book an overnight for my family ( two rooms ) prior to a cruise departure the next day. My wife of 24 years has traveled the world; my kids are adults. No complaints from any of the three regarding broken, nasty bathroom areas. No complaints regarding anything at all. If you are considering a cruise on Carnival from the port of Charleston anytime in the future I would recommend this property as a frugal place to spend the night prior to boarding the next day. Ruby Tuesday is right across the street, McD and Bojangles next door. I have not experienced any of the problems expressed by the previous posters. more

The staff of this property, from the management to the housekeeping staff, have always been extremely cordial, helpful, and eager to please this guest. I will be back in the North Charleston area again on business next week and will be staying at this property for four nights; I'll book a room there again the next time I'm in town also for business or for travel. more

BEWARE!!! ROACHES AND BEDBUGS!!! 1/10/2012

I stayed there for a few days and I had seen maybe one or two roaches. I just kinda passed it off because its not like they were in massive numbers right? Wrong. I was working on my laptop (2:30am) and my arm and leg kept itching I didnt think much of it (people itch randomly), until I saw 3 HUGE bedbugs, roaches or whatever you want to call them, run across my sheet and they came from where I was sitting!!! I got up immediately, screaming and doing the freaked out bug dance, packed up my stuff made another reservation and a DIFFERENT hotel was out of that room by 3 (which was good considering i had 2weeks worth of stuff unpacked). When I say these bugs were BIG, i mean these thing were the size of a frickin silver dollar with NO exaggeration. It was disgusting..... NEVER AGAIN!!! more

I was very grateful to find your hotel conveniently located with easy access to several restuarants, banks, shopping centers and grocery stores. Our dining out seemed very cost efficient and a lot less stressful without the hassle of having to drive. more
