On a recent occasion, kitchen was undergoing repairs. Breakfast provided was fruit, minimal danish and bagels, and cereal. It was served with paper plates and plastic utensils; that the fruit was not pre-sliced (try cutting a whole orange with a plastic knife). Didn't provide tongs to pick out danish with, nor cream cheese or butter or jelly for the bagels and buns (eat bagels plain and dry???)
Over the next week I tried more than a dozen times to call the banquet mgr, at various times of the business day. Never being able to actually get to speak to her, and frequently being transferred back to the main incoming menu again, I concluded that she does not make herself conveniently accessable to an outside businessman trying to reach her. The impression is instead that the lack-a-daisy approach of the staff is merely a reflection of the manager's.
