Quality 1st Basement Systems came and did an excellent job. They were immaculate! They cleaned everything up, came at the time they said they were going to come, and they were very prompt. My whole experience with them was excellent, except for the fact that they made me wait months before coming back for the second project I wanted them to do in the basement. That was the only downside. I felt that as a standing customer they should have done the work sooner. more

We've recommended Quality 1st Basement Systems to a lot of people. They did two different things for us. One was to put the sump pump in the french drain in one section of the basement, and the other was to have all the cement in the crawl space covered with a think vinyl layer. They did a very good job on both. more

We are actually in construction ourselves, and we were going to do the job ourselves too, as we're normally not impressed with other contractors, but when Ken from Quality 1st Basement Systems came to the job, he impressed me with what he knew, so I thought I would give him a shot at it. Besides, we had a lot of work to do in the house already, so we just got it ready for them to do it instead. When they came, he and his workers were excellent. They worked really fast, and did a good job, as well or better than I expected, and I don't say that about many people. more

Quality 1st Basement Systems was the second of three estimates we got to put a sump pump in the basement. They were the lowest cost by far, and the job they did was phenomenal. I didn't think by going with them I would be losing out on anything, quality, product, or whatever. All around, it was a great experience. more

I think Quality 1st Basement Systems is awesome! Really, it was an unbelievable experience. From the first day, when the salesman came out. He was extremely knowledgeable about their products and explained clearly as far as my needs were and what to expect. He was also very compassionate about my concerns about mess and dust. On the day of the installation, they were impeccable. They were on time and were very careful and neat. Even though there was a lot of concrete breaking, they put plastic up, covered items and moved things out of the basement before starting. They worked really quickly. I live above an aquifer, and before I found Quality 1st Basement Systems, I would find water in my basement every time it rained. Water would bubble up through minute cracks in the floor and walls, and after my husband died I grew afraid that I'd slip down there and be stuck. My sump pump would eventually take care of things, but it seemed like it would have to run forever. My father-in-law recommended Quality 1st. When I got in touch, they sent out a sales rep who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to give me options, and walk me through exactly what the job would entail. The work took three days to complete, and the difference has been amazing. Since Quality 1st finished up, the basement has been dry as a bone. I've seen no flooding whatsoever, on either the walls or the tile floor. They even installed a battery backup on the sump pump, in case I ever lost power in a storm. From start to finish, my experience with Quality first was absolutely amazing. For the result I received, I think they are an excellent value. more

Quality 1st did a great job with our soggy basement! We purchased our home three years ago, and it was supposedly ""dry"" in the basement. This was obviously not true, and we had a different system put in over a year ago. It wasn't keeping up with water that was pouring in through our windows, and Quality 1st came to our rescue! The new window wells, drains and sump pump have kept our basement completely dry, and we are now re-finishing the basement for our family. April 12, 2010 Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a waterproofing systems in my basement. I received estimates from several Companies who were qualified to do the work, but I chose Quality 1st Basement because the esitmate I received was in line with the other companies, but they offered new technology to cure an age old problem. The sales person Carl, brought his computer and provided me with an exact cost and a complete sketch of what the job entailed. The sales people and the office personel were all very polite and professional. I was really impressed with the 3 people who actually did the work. The young men arrived at my home at the scheduled time, began preparing the basement by covering the furniture and everything of value. They worked all day and completed the entire job by 5 p.m. That included drilling the entire perimeter of the basement, installing the drain sytem and installing a ice guard in the back yard. I have been water free since the installation of the waterproofing system. I would definitely recommend this company to any one who is having problems with water in their basement.
