The VA needs to terminate this contract!!! Although my experience with QTC is short, it has been an absolute nightmare. I'm not sure who's bright idea it was to contract these people with the VA; however, someone needs to be QCing them. After the initial paperwork was mailed to me, I proceeded with my appointments. When it came to the 2nd appt, the paperwork stated it was for a particular type of appt (women's appt), and in print stated, if any medical issues/exams, which have been addressed within the past year of active duty service, the exam can be skipped, and paperwork proof of the active duty appt, is to be mailed to them. With this being said, I made a copy (since I did have one w/in a yr), then proceeded to my next scheduled appt. The doctor's office that was contracted to perform the 3rd appt (an upper GI), called me the evening before to confirm my appt; I thought this was very polite and courtious of them. Then, I received a call from QTC about an hr later, stating since the 2nd appt (women's appt) was missed, this upper GI was cancelled.. When inquiring for the reason, they stated that the 2nd appt was also a ""general"" exam and had to be performed prior to the upper GI; however I explained that there was NO mention of this in the paperwork. QTC then explained the appt would be rescheduled and I would be mailed info on the rescheduled date...this never happened. After not hearing anything for 3 wks, and repeated non-returned phone calls, I finally called one of the supervisors, and again the rep they assigned me, punctuating in my voicemail that I was also contacting the VA about this situation. I received 2 calls (remarkably) within an hr, stating they had rescheduled my appts, but the appt date had passed (when I never received anything in the mail); therefore, I needed to call the VA and have the process restarted. I then called the VA and explained my disgust in this process, to which the rep didn't seem to show any emotion. It has been another month (when VA said it should take a couple wks to receive more correspondence from QTC), without any mail, and numerous unanwered voicemails. This company's contract needs to be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY!
