PVI INDUSTRIES PRODUCED A SERIES OF WATER HEATERS AND BOILERS STARTING AROUND THE LATE 1990S WITH A LINING CODED P10. P10 WAS DESIGNATED BY POLYMER 10. THE INSTALLED LINING WAS NOT SUFFICIENT TO PROTECT THE CARBON STEEL TANKS, WHICH INCLUDED POTABLE WATER AND BOILER WATER TANKS, FROM BEING COMPROMISED BY THE NATURAL MINERALS IN WATER. THOSE TANKS WITH THIS P10 LINING WERE VERY PRONE TO EARLY FAILURE. THE COMPANY OWNER, ENGINEERING, MANUFACTURING, AND OTHERS AT THE COMPANY KNEW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND OTHER PROBLEM(S). THOSE P10 TANKS WERE STILL SOLD TO DISTRIBUTORS AND CUSTOMER, WHICH HAD TO PAY FOR PROBLEMS WHEN THOSE P10 TANKS FAILED. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I WORKED IN ENGINEERING. SIGNED SINCERELY, PC.
