They scammed us. Their estimate was higher than our insurers. Putnams said not to worry, they would get a revised estimate from Geico. When we went to pick up the car they told my wife she still owed $250 - because they never got the revised estimate. They assured her that all she needed to do was talk to Geico and they would re-reimburse her. Not the case. Putnams should not have started the work without an OK from the insurer. They have been in business for years and know this. Putnams estimate for the work included 5 hours labor for something Geico said needed 1. I believe they were scamming us and didn't want to get called out for it, so they never called Geico. The owner yeled and cursed at me when I called to try and rectify the problem. Never had an experience like that. We live four blocks away and will never use them again.
