I have three kids, I don't have time to shop around. I don't enjoy going to differnt stores or looking for bargains. And I don't like paying full price. I also like dressing my kids in nice clothes that will last and look good even worn out. I like coming to purple cow because their selection is so great. The condition of their clothes is pretty amazing. It is a nice little place and a one stop shop for clothes. I usually go in the begining of the season and stock up. A few times I happened upon their end of the season sale. It is such a bargain. My kids get compliments almost everyday on their clothes. Oh, I think the customer service is amazing. They are always very helpful and courteous. more

Minimal ""High-End"", If Any 11/4/2010

Purple Cow claims to be high end while a majority of clothing was not. Very disappointed in selection. Walmart, Target, Children's Place, and some Gymboree does not constitute high end. I've seen more ""high end"" at Once Upon a Child, and a bigger selection. So sad, as I was hoping to find my daughter a special holiday outfit. Would not recommend. more

This place is silly. The people who rightfully need to buy used clothes would never pay 10-15dollars for a shirt.Are you kidding me! The people that could afford it would never be caught dead in a resale shop. The staff is uptight and extrememly unfriendly.Let not forget folks,you work in a resale shop.Lose the attitude.Value Village is the real bargain with there 50% off days. They also have name brand clothes,but a reasonable prices. more

Cannot belevive the brands this store gets! I just picked up an Oilily dress for my daughter for 18.00 dollars! I think it was probebly over one-hundred new. Great finds here. I can't wait to buy her whole spring wardrobe here. I will never buy new again. Pros: Burberry for baby! Cons: little pricey more

The employees at Purple Cow are super unfriendly. I am never greeted even if eye contact is made. I am never asked if I need help. Their selection is very limited. If you do happen to find something you like it will probably be a great brand but the price shows. I would rather buy new clothes from Children's Place or Gymboree for less than used Baby Nay or Janie and Jack. It doesn't matter what brand it is, I will never pay $20 for a used kids garment!!! Check it out though and you will see for yourself! Pros: higher end brands Cons: small selection and snobby more

a great resale shop 9/5/2008

O.k. So I love resale shops!! When your little ones grow out of things so quickly who wants to pay enormous prices. Purple Cow allows you to dress your prince or princess to the nines and pay a fraction of the cost. This shop has a great variety of styles and brands and the ladies that work there are so friendly. Be aware that the prices are higher than most other consignments though, but so is the quality . Pros: Great Service, Upscale brands Cons: pricey for second hand clothing. more

Friendly & nice selection 8/18/2008

I visited a couple of maternity consignment stores before this one and was disappointed to see faded, worn out clothes. Sure I?m trying to save money, but I still want to look good! I was extremely pleased with the quality available in this store. It?s obvious they?re picky about what they buy. I was able to find several affordable pieces here; though you?ll definitely pay more for the higher end labels it?s still far less than new in an upscale boutique though. \r \r They offer a wish list online where you can request they contact you when they get in specific items. The friendly ladies working in the store told me the wish list is active for 60 days. This is a nice bonus when so many places force the customer to keep checking back for a desired item. \r Pros: Quality items & friendly service Cons: Some items a bit pricey more

LOVE THIS STORE!! 5/30/2008

This is just the best store around. Great service, great prices and great items. They have unique items and the resale items are perfect. The ladies that work their are so nice and do a great job. The store is clean and neat and easy to shop in. We love this store! I wish they had a frequent buyer program!! SIGN ME UP! Pros: Price, Easy to shop in, Friendlt service, I could go on and on... Best Customer Service! 7/8/2007

I was shopping for a friend and don't know the first thing about kids, and they help me so much. They know what you need and don't push it. If I need to get a gift again I'm going there! LOVE IT! Pros: They have a Womens store and a Furniture store in the same plaza! more

A great place to shop! 11/24/2005

As far as children's resale shops go, this is my favorite in the area. The store is well decorated, the brands are top notch, and the staff is friendly. I like being able to purchase boutique clothes at a fraction of the price that they would cost new. My only complaint, and the only reason I can't give it 5 stars, is that some of the clothes have some minor stains or imperfections. Nothing major, but it is disappointing to find a nice outfit and notice a stain (however small) on it when you get home. Still A+ as far as I'm concerned. more

Awesome service, nice finds 11/10/2005

It's so refreshing to not find stained, outdated, Wal-mart clothes in a resale shop. I love going to Purple Cow because I know that I will find the beautiful clothing I am searching for at a fraction of what it would cost new. This is not a "thrift" store like Goodwill - you get what you pay for. This store is always clean and kept nice and organize. The prices are a little higher than a thrift store, but they also take care to only buy high end items that are in excellent condition, so it's worth the price difference. more

During their big sales you can find good deals on resale clothing but otherwise they are overpriced. They have some nice things but there is only so much I am willing to spend for used clothing. PROS: nicer items CONS: overpriced boutique more

good stuff but you will pay for it 9/23/2005

This is a shop that has a lot of great quality, brand nam items. However, you will pay for it as their prices are a little steep. Staff is friendly and parking is not an issue here. My advice though is to find out what these items sell for when they are on sale or clearance through the store, and that way you know if you are getting a bargain here or not. As with an resale store, you sometimes have to dig a bit to find the stuff you are looking for. But this store is fairly well organized and the staff will help you find what you are looking for. more

Upscale retail at its best 8/30/2005

The purple cow has a very nice selection of VERY nice items. Even the previously used items they accept are top of the line and always in great condition. They give top dollar for trade ins too! PROS: nice people CONS: expensive more
