The food is excellent - truly top-notch Mexican - and the restaurant is well-decorated and comfortable. Unfortunately, the service is quite relaxed and not always attentive (depends on your waiter/waitress), to the level of servers observing your empty glass and returning to their conversation.
We also recently encountered a problem when we attempted to use a dining certificate from an organization the restaurant used to participate in, but has since apparently dropped out of. The owner, feigning total ignorance about the prior affiliation, nonetheless opened the certificate (voiding it) and then came over to our table to tell us that a.) she knew nothing about the prior marketing organization, and b.) because they didn't accept this certificate, it was our problem. We had been repeat clients, but apparently, saving $20 was more important than ensuring our return.
The best way to enjoy this restaurant is by ordering take-out, and not using discount certificates!
