Pure Energy Productions

I booked Pure Energy Productions to provide the entertainment at my wedding in June of 2008. We were referred to PEP by several of the other wedding vendors we chose for our BIG day. My best advice to anyone planning a wedding is to be sure to meet with any DJ you are considering to hire. We met with several and after 2 distracting Starbucks consultations, 1 DJ who never showed-up at all, 1 DJ who was 1 hour late to our home, we ended up at the PEP office. We booked their services the day of our first consultation! \r \r We also booked a Photo Booth that came with a Photographer to take the pictures. They printed out the high quality 4 X 6 prints on-site and our guest got to take them home as their favors. This was a HUGE addition to the party and everyone had a blast with it! \r \r From the initial contact, Phil and his staff were an intrigle part of our complete event planning. We loved the access to their music database via their website, and had a blast picking our favorite tunes to be played. Natasha was always available to answer our hundreds of questions and even helped us with the design of our ceremony programs! \r \r The day of the wedding we had DJ Kenny and he was fantastic in every way. He kept the Itinerary on time and made sure our other vendors and the facility were all in perfect sync. The music we chose in advance was played as promised and he picked the perfect songs to add to our selections. \r \r After the wedding, I received several compliments from my guests, as to how much fun they had, and how great the music was. I'm glad we put so much time into selecting our entertainment...it really made a huge difference in the outcome of my special day. \r \r Good luck and best wishes to you all! Who ever wrote that bad review must have been a paranoid competitor. I've was sooo pleased with the way Phil (DJ/Owner) took over my wedding. He did everything from playing the music (with perfect timing), he gathered all the guests for a toast and for the cutting the cake. He also got out on the dance floor and guided us all through a dance. I think it was called the Cha Cha Slide. He taught everyone how to ring those little bells so I had to kiss my new husband a 1,000 times throughout my reception. Thank you Phil! There is no better DJ in the Bay Area! Several of my friends and even my old work has used Pure Energy Productions and they have all been more then pleased with his work. more

Wow, this team of DJ'S are the best. All the latest tunes, equipment, and lights. They have great people skills and made sure that everyone had a great time. I would hire them anytime, even thinking about them at my next wedding! Pros: Professional all the way more

That's right. Not only did this DJ not listen to any of our instruction for our wedding but they pretty much disappeared throughout the night. Couldn't even find the DJ at one point and while he left 5 songs by the same artist off of a greatest hits album played. Afterwards they wouldn't even get back to me and double talked me between the owner and the DJ. What a terrible experience after and during the greatest day of our lives. Do not use this company! more
