Pura Vida Tapas & Bar

The AJC voted Pura Vida as the best restaurant in Atlanta in 2006 and I have to say, they're right on the money! This is a fantastic place. The atmosphere is fun and the wait staff were nice and happy to walk you through the menu. The food is phenomenal! It's a Tapas bar which means you go with friends and order tons of mini dishes to share. Each is $6 so you can be full for well under $30. The mojitos are homemade and delish. more

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous! The atmosphere is just cozy, romantic, and fun. It is just something that you would never experience at another restaurant. The food is so good that I have never had anything that I did not really like. They have something for meat-eaters, seafood lovers, and vegetarians. They do not have any particular Latin flavor to them, but they represent tapas from a variety of latino countries. The food is presented beautifully! They give you plenty of time to eat your food in peace without feeling rushed. You leave there full, but not stuffed which is a wonderful feeling! On certain days of the week, it would be best to make a reservation, but it is not necessary. They also offer entertainment on certain nights which I have heard are tons of fun. This is a great place to go if you are looking for something out of the ordinary and fun. more
