We went to Pupu Lounge for lunch on a Monday afternoon. It was a little warm, so they offered us a table closer to the air conditioner (towards the back of the restaurant). They weren't very busy, but most patio tables were filled. Our party was quite hungry, and the special was a fish and chips entree w/fries and coleslaw. I think almost everyone chose that. Our server had said it made with a local fish that was buttery on flavor (can't remember the name of the fish). He also mentioned the coleslaw was very good. When our food came, we were pleased to see an ample portion of food on each plate. The food looked very appetizing, not greasy, and smelled fabulous. Honestly, I think it's the best fish and chips I've ever had, and I wasn't alone in that assessment. It was cooked to a golden brown, crisp and light, and the fish was very fresh (from that morning), tender and flaky. The coleslaw was crunchy, and had the most wonderful, light and tangy-sweet dressing. There were also several of our number that commented the mai tais were pretty good as well (I didn't have one, so can't say personally).
Pros: Nice, casual atmosphere, good food
Cons: None when we were there
