In small towns there are small (read fewer) options for some things. Like finding a place for your four legged family members to stay. After some searching, we found Pups-N-People. As someone told me, they are one of a few “cageless” kennels in the area. The folks are top notch, nice, friendly and they obviously care a great deal about your pet. more

The Best Doggy Behavior 12/6/2005

Pup n People has a great program for dog training. My 8 year old son and I participated in dog training classes at Pup n People and had a great time. They have beginner classes for both puppies and older dogs. They teach basic obedience like sit, down, stay, come etc. They also have advanced classes and training classes for competing in dog shows and dog athletics like obstacle courses and Frisbee competitions. more

Only a few suggestions... 11/9/2005

I like this place. I really do. They are one of a few cageless kennels in the area. They are very nice and they obviously care a great deal about your pet. However, they are a tad inflexible. If you are late (after 6pm) to pick up your pet, they charge by the minute. Their hours are a little restrictive and there are no weekends hours to speak of. That being said, they have a lot of pros as well, the top one being they encourage socialization of the part of the pets. I like them a lot, but... more
