Feeling judged 9/6/2013

I visited the store with efforts to seek a companion pet. The store is nice , generally clean, seems like there are more pet items available than PetSmart, I unfortunately left without even seeing a puppy. I had asked to see one, spoke to Trent , guy with brown hair and birthmark on his face , without discussing any of my finances AT ALL, Trent said I wouldn't want to see him because the puppy would be too much money! This made me feel awful. I have never had anyone make me feel that MY DOLLAR wasn't as good as anyone else's.. Anyway I needed up going with a very nice local breeder which is probably safest anyway.. This way I know the puppy doesn't come from a puppy mill.. Not to say that puppy mill dogs are bad as it is not their fault, but safer to buy from a breeder .. And one who will take my money at that.. more

Horrible customer service 4/4/2013

Very nice and clean inside and puppy's were so cute!!! But the two girls working there were on there phones thee whole time. We asked to take out a pup but worker just kept on taking picture of pup. So we patiently waited for about ten mins. Really!!! I finally asked again now seeing that she began feeding them. Now she tells me were gonna have to wait 30 mins because they just ate. Really!! Thanks lady! Both played on there phones! Never got greeted just ignored! Didn't even say bye come again when we left. Let me tell you, that's thee worst costumer services I've ever experienced . Oh and we were thee only customers the whole time. I'd never go back there again!!!! Sad thing is the owner probably don't even know his employees suck more

Clean, bright shop! Huge playrooms full of toys for the pups! We have 2 pups from there, and another SPCA rescue. We are huge dog people and would never support any place that was involved with puppymills, we did our homework before buying a puppy here. They are wonderful people who really care about the animals they sell. They will help guide you to the right breed of dog for you, they talk to you and get to know you and help prevent impulse puppy buying! This is a great place to find your next best friend!!! more

Would not return! 5/12/2011

I bought my rottie (Zeus) from Puppyville 2/10, at that time he was 3 months old. We were told that he was a pure bred rottie (which come to find out, he is not). He is so sweet, but he never acted like a puppy. So, when we took him to the vet, we found out that he had ear mites, and stomach issues. Our vet called Puppyville to tell them that they should have never sold him to anyone being in the health that he was. We were reimbured $200.00, which didn't take care of a quarter of what we had had already paid. Since that time, we have found out that Zeus has a severe case of hip dysplasia (he has no hip sockets) as well as a heart murmur and he's only 17 months old. He is taking rimadyl daily and to have a double hip replacement will cost me over $10,000! Their guarantee won't cover a total hip replacement. Had I known what I know now, I would not have ever purchased a dog from Puppyville. My husband and I keep telling ourselves that we saved Zeus life. We love him so much, but his health problems will definitely be costly. more

Different from all the rest!!! 5/11/2011

I would tell anyone I know to check this place out! Puppies look amazingly healthy and only come from USDA licensed A+breeders! The staff is awesome, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They have a Veterinarian on call and also a Certified Veterinary Assistant on staff! Check the place out for yourself!!! more

Check this place out! 3/15/2011

The previous comment is obviously an employee for pet go round. They gave puppyville a bad review and pet go round 5 stars. Really? Everyone knows tiny cages and sick, depressed dogs get 5 stars. NOT! Pet go round can't even pay their bills and the owner is going to close the stores in the next few months. The last few "managers" were all fired. The last lynnhaven manager was fired for stealing from the owner and customers. The one before that is on the run from animal control for customer complaints and not buying puppies from USDA broker/breeder. The manager from pembroke was fired for stealing, drinking on the job, wrecking the company truck as well as other things. Don't forget, everyone who gets a puppy there will have no where to go if they have a problem with their dog. Also check their prices compared to puppyville. They are always hundreds of dollars less and the warranty is so much better. Check out both places and see for yourself. Don't waste your time reading our reviews. Make your own decisions. more

Poor customer service 10/27/2010

My family recently visited this place and were so excited at first because the place was set up so cool... However - lets talk about service people! I'm not sure these people know much about customer service. My daughter and walked around two times while my husband stood there looking at the bulldog in the window. We were there for about 15 minutes while the clerk standing behind their counter talked on his phone the entire time we were there. I might add that we were the only customers in the entire store during our visit. Maybe the poor customer service was something that we just didn't expect. Word is around town this place is known for this as we visited a competitor and made a purchase. For the latino guy behind the counter... if you spent as much time helping your customers as you did ignoring them you might make a decent paycheck. How your boss doesn't can your behind is beyond me. more
