Best

Punjabi Dhaba is a great place to bring a few friends and enjoy a meal. This place is always busy, and the staff are working hard. The food must be fresh because of the turnover....

Worst

We love Indian food, so for a fix in our new neighborhood, we went to Punjabi Dhaba. The place is small, and we chose to sit down amidst the crowds coming in and out and smushing...

Great food great prices 5/19/2004

The food is fantastic, it costs 2/3 of the cost of any other Indian restaurant in Cambridge, and the servers are really friendly. The Chicken Saag and Tikka Masala are especially good. Pros: Tasty, Inexpensive, Fast more

Good and Affordable 1/24/2003

I was really pleased with this restaurant. The food was ready quick and prepared after ordering it. The prices are much lower than the typical Indian restaurant. It has a very interesting atmosphere from the pictures on the wall and the Indian music playing. Definitely a good place for lunch or a quick dinner. The staff were very friendly. Pros: fast, inexpensive Cons: hard seats, cafeteria trays more

Good food and very nice people working 12/12/2002

This is my favorite place to go to. I probably go very often. The food is great (northern indian food especially) and affordable. Since it opens until midnight, it gets really crowded sometimes. It plays nice indian music (sometimes it is loud) and the casher, Harry is a very nice person with a nice smile. Pros: Inexpensive, Good food, Very casual more

Cheap, fun & good. 8/26/2002

Some of the best (northern) indian food in town. Order dal & pakora & nan & raita and you've got dinner for two for under $12. Come late on a weekend night and the Bollywood hits are thumpin'. Always crowded. If you don't like dining on prison trays, you might order your food to go. more

The best indian food in town 5/29/2002

Excellent. The service is friendly, the food is awesome, the price is right, the portions are huge. There's no attitude involved. The location is great. Call ahead for takeout, and enjoy! Pros: Awesome food!, Down to earth, Nice people Cons: Sometimes crowded more
