Genuine Mexican Food 3/27/2006

These people here deffinitely do not exercise portion control. The portions are always more than i can handle. The service is great the staff is super friendly. the atmosphere is lively and relaxing at the same time. Favourite place to take the little ones. I love the pina colada. The menu is quite extensive and won't harm your wallet. more

Authentic Mexican cuisine 9/27/2005

Puerto Vallarta is a chain of stores, several of which are located in the central Connecticut area. Inside you'll find a very colorful atmosphere - just like the scenes from Mexico you might have seen in a movie! The food is very good as well. Of course, the bar is well-stocked and has many different types of beer as well as margaritas and the like. Overall, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! more

Great Mexican Food 8/17/2005

Puerto Vallarta has a wide variety of authentic mexican food. the restaurant is decorated in bright colors featuring mexican tiles and pottery. The magaritas are always delicious, the tortilla chips and salsa perfect and homemade and the staff helpful and attentive. On weekends you may encounter a roving musician! Try the vegetarian burritos! more

Family Owned Mexican 8/16/2005

This is a great family run Mexican restaurant on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. I love Mexican food anyway, but this is especially good – its kind of a mix between “traditional Mexican” and the “tex-mex” stylings Americans are used to. For example, they serve both chicken mole (traditional) and fajitas (tex-mex) – and both dishes are equally yummy! more
