When I called this location, they said at the customer service desk that they did not do pre-paid reloads for Visa cards, so I had to go to another grocery store. This wasted an hour or so of my time. Since we had to end up going to Publix, I took the receipt from where I loaded my card at Piggly Wiggly in with me. I informed the lady at Customer service that I was the one who had called on the phone about reloading pre-paid VISA cards. She flatly told me again that they did not do that here. I said, ""I do believe that you do. Where are your forms?"" She motioned a short ways from the customer service desk, and I picked up the correct form which CLEARLY states at the very top PRE-PAID SERVICES/PAYMENTS, and I took it back over to her. (She didn't even bother to stand up from where she had been sitting). In the 10 years of working customer service from restaurants to grocery stores, we were not allowed to sit down on the job, unless we were on break. I handed her the form and said that yes, you do reload cards at Publix. She read the form, and said, ""Oh, I guess we do. Well, you didn't say that over the phone..."" YES, I DID, WHAT IS THERE TO MISUNDERSTAND, when I said ""Do you reload pre-paid VISA cards at your location?"" She was just flat-out lazy and rude!! I said that I had already had this taken care of somewhere else, and I was just letting her know. She shrugged her shoulders like ""whatever"". I never remember Publix having employees like this! What about saying: ""I am sorry for the inconvenience ma'am, and I appreciate you letting me know so that I can help you or someone else in the future - sorry for the misunderstanding,"" but no, I did not receive any sort of apology. The prices at this Publix are also a little higher, but thinking that this was because Publix offers gourmet or high-end products, I thought they would have what I needed. Publix does not carry Tyrosine, an amino acid. Our entire trip took 3-4 hrs., so I will avoid Publix like the plague!!
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Poor customer service and over-priced
