My husband discovered this venue a few years ago and we have grown to love it so much- we even became members this year. The performance space offers a wonderful selection of avant garde plays. PS 122 is reasonably priced (an inexpensive alternative to Broadway) and each of their plays are insightful. I always leave a show with lots to talk and think about. PS 122 also has an art gallery with changing exhibitions. more

The East Village's ""Globe"" 8/23/2002

A venue to see dance, performance art, plays, comedy, and multi-media shows. Most shows are under $20. You can get in free if you usher. Cutting-edge and established artists appear. ""Alumni"" (e.g., Tim Miller, Richard Maxwell) appear regularly. more
