Provino's is good Italian food but a little overpriced. The atmosphere is very nice with dim lights and wine related things for decorations. They have a great room for a party or meeting. All meals come with never ending salad and bread. The bread is mini rolls in a garlic butter sauce. I have had the manicotti there and it's delicious. It's really good reheated also. Provino's is a classy retaurant and therefore a great place for a date without spending tons of money. There are cheaper places in Auburn though. more

One of my favorite Italian restaurants 3/31/2006

Provino's is a fun place to go for a fun meal out. The food is delicious. I LOVE their bread and salad, which is always replenished frequently :) The prices are reasonable and the service is generally excellent. Be prepared to wait on "big" nights (i.e. Valentine's), most weekends, or with a large party. Great atmosphere! more

Watch out on "big" dates... 8/15/2005

Provino's is good Italian food, at a reasonable price, but watch out on those big date nights. Provino's does not take reservations for major dates (like Valentine's Day) and it is a popular local spot. My recommendation, either avoid the restaurant on major dates, or use their call-ahead wait list. Otherwise, you can expect to wait up to 3 hours for a table!!! It's a good restaurant, but it's not worth that kind of wait. more

Restaurant 7/19/2005

The food here is excellent, but what I especially love is the decor and atmosphere. The restaurant is brand new, yet they did a fabulous job of giving the interior a private, "old world" feel, with different rooms. Families are welcome, but it's also a great restaurant to bring a date or celebrate an anniversary. The prices are reasonable and the staff are polite. There is plenty of parking. The location is ok; it's off exit 57 in Auburn, within walking distance from the Hilton Garden Inn. Overall, I like this place much better than other Italian restaurants. more
