I recently boarded my dog with this vet clinic. When I arrived to pick him up, I had a charge for an antibiotic on my bill that I was not expecting. When I questioned the charge and my dog was brought to me, he had an open sore on his side. I was told it was a "hot spot" and it was due to the stress of boarding. I was concerned as my dog has boarded for years and has never come home with a "hot spot". I was also concerned that no one had called me to make me aware. Over the next several days, my dog refused to eat, became dehydrated and was not acting himself. I took him back to the vet who again told me it was the "stress" of boarding and wanted to charge $107.00 for the visit some fluids and vitamin B, they also indicated he may have gotten "kennel cough". I asked the office manager contact me to discuss my concerns. She said they did not need to contact me regarding the hot spot as it was a "minor" concern.
