Among those regularly treated here are dogs, cats, birds of all kinds, snakes, lizards, turtles and frogs, "pocket pets" such as mice, gerbils, and hamsters, rabbits, and even fish. Medical and diagnostic services: In addition to immunization, micro-chipping, preventive health care, and behavior counseling, our clinic provides a wide spectrum of medical and diagnostic services. In-house laboratory facilities are available for blood testing, microscopic cytology, fecal tests, complete urinalysis, and antigen tests for heartworms and viral diseases. We routinely use outside lab support services for histopathology and specialized blood tests. We provide endoscopic services including gastro-intestinal endoscopy, arthroscopy, and otoscopic examination. Radiology services include complete gastro-intestinal tract series, dental radiographs, myelography, and other contrast procedures. We also offer evaluation for canine hip dysplasia using Penn hip or Ofa procedures. In the area of exotic animals, we offer routine medical care in addition to diagnostic procedures, treatment and surgery. The yearly exam When you bring your pet for its yearly vaccinations, the most important aspect of the visit is the annual physical examination. We recommend a yearly examination of all pets, including exotics.
