No deposit back - 11 months later 12/15/2008

I moved out of one of their properties 11 months ago and still have not recieved my deposit. I have called and emailed about 5 times and they keep saying they will send it right away.... Terrible and dishonest service. more

Really don't even deserve a star 9/8/2008

As everyone has said, Don?t expect anything that breaks to ever be fixed by them. We lived in a house of theirs for two years. When we moved in the oven didn?t work. Every month we would call, send faxes, and emails to have it fixed which never happened. Two years without the use the oven and I seriously doubt they have fixed it yet. Our water was through some other company instead of Austin Elec. So the day we move in after being told by PMT that Austin was the only company we had to go through we found out we had no running water. It took us about a week to find out on our own what water company we had to go through cause PMT had no idea. Twice during out lease they lost our rent check and than tried to make us pay the late fees due to their own disorganized practice. Every time we would show them the bank statements where it showed they had obviously already cashed the check. When we moved in they handed us one gate remote (for four people with separate vehicles) and said it was for the garage. At the end of our lease they then turned around and said they had given us three of the remotes and we were liable for them, even though we only ever had one. They didn?t even know about the outlandish HOA and their rules that was part of the property. We signed the lease unaware we couldn?t even park our cars in the street, only to end up getting our cars towed from right in front of the house we were renting. They have no understanding of what is going on at their properties, they are very disorganized, and unreliable. They also have yet to return, or send writing notice of why we have yet to receive our security deposit check back. Which under Texas Law, they are required to do after thirty days. PMT has Terrible Service! 8/12/2008

I have been a tenant in a condo that PMT "manages" for 4 years now and I would not recommend their company to anyone. We had a hail storm 3-4 months ago, and just last week the roof was fixed! Yesterday my broken window was replaced from that same storm. PMT DID NOT CALL me, but instead broke into my apartment via my already broken window, and used my facilities with out proper disposal (toilet included) of their mess. Watch Your Back! 6/26/2008

If zero stars was an option, I would pick it. Do not rent from PMT at all. We have had over 20 issues with our property starting with the fact that I was sweeping up dirt inside on move in day when the previous tenants apparently spent "$300" to clean it. We have rodents in our property and insects that they will not fix even though it is in the lease. Blinds were missing from our windows upon move in, light fixtures were hanging from the ceiling and the screen door had tons of holes in it. Pros: none Cons: John Firnhaber more

Don't expect much out of PMT during August. It's their "busy season." No letters, no monthly statements, no rent checks, no phone calls, and no property visits. more

AVOID PMT 7/23/2007

PMT is AWFUL! I have had NUMEROUS problems with my condo and they haven't done much about it. I've had a leak (which BTW- is near my computer and bed) for about 11 months now. They've sent some people (AFTER WEEKS/MONTH), but the problem has NOT been fixed. I've gotten the response, "Well, the roof was just replaced a couple of years ago." And the BEST was from the roofer, "Well, I'll just put a bucket up there to catch the water." Haha, did that work NO! Did he put the bucket up there? Probably not. The leak is so bad that it doesn't even leak anymore... it's like a faucet. Pros: Close to campus Cons: Right across the hospital (= ambulunce noices), next to I-35, PMT doesn't service you! more

Worst Leasing company in town. RENTERS BEWARE!!! 2/12/2007

I have rented a home in south austin from this company for 2 years. They are the worst pmc I have ever dealt with. Numerous issues with plumbing, electric, broken items when we moved in. I would say on the average, 3 to 4 calls before they even write a work ticket. Oh and don't ever expect your phone calls to even get returned. Our person that is over our house is always "Not available". They put the house on the market to sell and they didn't even tell us. We just came home on day from work and a lock box was on the door. It was the end of our lease, but still a little courtesy would have been nice. BTW, the house was broken into during the time it was on the market. Strangly enough the real estate company that showed the house that day forgot to lock the door to the garage and thats how someone broke in. Do you think they even returned my phone call. They are ducking my phone calls. The police are investigating and hopefully they can be held liabale. Well see. Pros: customer service.... house was dirty when we moved in. Items left broken and unrepaired after numerous calls Cons: none more

great management team 6/6/2006

We have had PMT manage our condo in Austin for 6.5 years and we have never had a problem with them. In fact they have managed our second condo for 1 year. We are very please with the PMT management team. more

Maintenance Requests Handled Poorly 6/2/2006

I rent a duplex in which PMT manages. I have put in MULTIPLE maintenance requests for the SAME problem over a YEAR now. This request has never been handled/resolved. Spoke with maintenance manager and still no resolution. I just hope nothing really big ever needs to be fixed at this property. Cons: Maintenance NEVER taken care of more
