Family member was hired to do security for the owner Kevin, worked many hours and was given a personal check when pay day arrived. No check stub no visible deduction just a private check with deductions taken out! Then to top it off when my sibling went to go cash the check, it bounced. I called Mr. Kevin and spoke briefly with him asking him to explain whats going on, well needless to say I was hung up on. I don't know what type of business your running, it will soon be ending, KEVIN'S the type of business your running isnt right and its illegal, I know. For one your suppose to provide a check stub with all deduction with the check given to your employee, not pocket it like im pretty sure your doing and for two once an employer check bounce there shall be a penalty for each day the employee is not able to cash his/her check. I have worked with proguard security for more then 2 years now. I have no idea what either of those last 2 posts are talking about. I never had a check bounce ever, The company owner is one of the best bosses I have ever worked with. He his fair understanding and if you need help he will work with you. I started off as an armed security guard and in a matter of 2 years I went from the bottom to the highest ranking road superrvisor he has. If your a hard working dependable person and show that you have what it takes to be a supervisor you will get there. I know who both of those people are who posted those comments and they were rightfully terminated for serveral reasons one of those includes costing the company a very important client so what do you expect. the funny thing is those other reviews aren't people who have had long term dealings with the company. The owner is a joke, he doesn't pay his employees ontime, he is constantly hiring new guards, who are under qualified. his vehicles are garbage, his guards are nice guys, but most are 60yrs old or older. his employees pray that they get their checks on time, then another prayer that the bank will cash it because he never keeps enough money in his account to cover his payroll. he doesn't pay his bills on time, when his guys go to fuel vehicles, they never know if the compaany cards are going to clear....most times they don't. he forces guys to quit and fights unemployment, he is a piece of trash. I contacted Proguard Security Services when I needed security for an auction. The guard that showed up was clean and professional. His stature proved he could handle himself if the situation got hairy. The guard also had a degree in criminal justice. When the guard was asked to remove two men that were drunk and causing a disruption, the guard handled it in a very professional manner. Proguard Security Services is only as good as its officer and with the guard I received, they struck gold. Pros: timely, clean, professional, nice and friendly. Cons: didn't like the uniform. more

I own a small business and needed a security guard to patrol under cover on my property. I was sent exactly what I was looking for, a middle aged, ex-cop, in his own vehicle. He acted and looked professional, and I dont think I will ever choose another company for security. Pros: options, professional, armed, unarmed, cheaper. Cons: none more
