I have no idea what I did to my back, but one day I heard something pop and I was in severe pain that would not go away. I went to them because they came to my job for free massages, so I decided to go for a consultation. After reviewing my x-rays, my spine was all out of whack. It was suggested that I have 20 treatments to fix my problem. I felt much better after just a few visits. I was skeptical about the activator. I didn't think it was really doing anything, but it was. The physical therapy was very beneficial as well. It was time consuming at times, especially since I usually had to come in during my lunch break, but they fine tuned my treatment so I could get the most out of it in the short amount of time I had. I would highly recommend Progressive Healthcare to anyone. The staff was great and the treatment worked. The only thing I think could be better is updating the office a little bit. I think it could be brighter and more inviting will a little renovation. more

I met Dr. Rattiner at a local festival. I was offered a free massage, then asked for $20 to come in on a "special" three point testing to see if I had any misalignments in my spine. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by the receptionist, who I could see her entire backside, not very appealing. After waiting over 50 minutes past my appointment time, I was ushered into a back room. I almost left at that point. The carpet was disgustingly dirty, there were spider webs in every corner and the ceiling tiles were falling in. After another 30 minutes of sitting there, I had my three point check. He took my blood pressure, good. An acidity paper test, good. Had me stand on 2 scales, my weight distribution was off by 4 pounds. Not much to go on there. But, I did have tension in my neck so he started to feel my neck and said "Oh yeah, you definitely have a problem". I did not have insurance, the cost for exams and x-rays was $163. After the x-rays he said, "I really want to help you, but I have to look at your x-rays first, come back tomorrow". I went in the following evening and he showed me my x-rays, "Oh, it's bad, your neck is out of place by 17mm!". He told me I would need 12 treatments, physical therapy and another exam to the cost of $770. Then explained that he does not accept payments each time you come in, you have to pay for the entire treatment up front. I could, however, pay in payments with huge fees added on. There was no way I was going to pay all of this without ever having a treatment by him. He did try to bully me into the plan by saying "It will only get worse and in the future you may need surgery if you leave it untreated". I had read his reviews and was excited to go in for my consultation, but I would never refer anyone I know to this office. more

I love Align the Spine! Each different chiropractor that I have gone to before used the same method without really focusing on my exact problem until I got to Align the Spine and Dr, Rattiner and his staff. I was feeling VERY bad in August of this year with swollen joints in my hands, elbows and ankles as well as red prickly skin. Chiropractic care isn't "one size fits all" it is the exact opposite, it should be the most individual care that you can get, especially because they can pinpoint your source of pain and treat it accordingly. I am almost finished with my treatment plan and l will continue to go once or twice a month. Since l started with Align the Spine, l can tell you l sleep better, walk easier, seem taller, more alert, just from aligning the bad areas and blockages in my spine. I used to dread dropping things at work because l was afraid l would have an incontinence moment bending down to get what ever it was-which is very embarrassing-l am too young for that. I actually pick up anything easier and don't worry about that happening any more. It is also easier for me to sit and get up without having to push on the table to raise up. Dr. Matt and Dr. Rattiner use the activator method primarily and I promise you that if you are skeptical-you won't be after treatment because it really works. Others who had used it on me didn't do it properly so it had no effect and I thought to myself-why are they even bothering with this? It really makes great quick results when used correctly!! more
