This restaurant will hopefully take off. I don't know if its the economy or what but it's empty. I can't explain it. The food is wonderful. The service is wonderful. The ambiance is wonderful. Yet - I went to other nearby ""more well-known"" steak houses and they were all full. Bottom line - you won't be unsatisfied with this spot. The Valley needs another place like this. All I have to say is WOW 1/14/2009

when entering Profile wine and grill the ambiance is breath taking, it is very warm and inviting. The service was okay however the food made up for the wait. The Pesto crusted swordfish had to be the best I have ever had, and the Fillet that my husband had he could not stop talking about it. Whatever they are doing in the kitchen I hope never changes. The cocktails were very good and the wine selection was one of the best selections I have seen in the valley for a very long time. Thank you profile for a wonderful Friday night. Amazing Place! 1/7/2009

What a fantastic place!!! Had their Ceasar's salad and it was to die for, and their creme brulee was wonderful! Their wine list was great, we settle on a fantastic Pinot Noir, and i would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining! :) Pros: Ambience, Parking, Service, Cuisine, Location more

Best Place to eat in LA 1/5/2009

Profile Bar and Grill has the most amazing food ever. I have tried everything.... almost everything on the menu. The halibut is amazing and the chocolate cake is heaven. The service is amazing... and they will take care of you like family. Very classy and perfect for a romantic dinner. more

The menu is terrific and the pricing is affordable. I eat here every weekend now. Great place to take the ladies without having to drive all the way to the west side!!!\r \r Oh - they have a special dining room section for larger parties - we had a party of 10 in our room. Great to Escape!! :) 11/18/2007

I discovered Toast about 3 months and go there at least 3 to 4 days a week. Whether it's getting a delicious filling salad, enjoying an amazing juicy burger, or treating myslef to an amazing pasta dish. It's great! It's fine dinning with a great price! The atmosphere is very romantic and makes you feel like your escaping the outside world. The bar is great too, because it's more like a lounge. Comfy booth seating, plasma TV's and drink list for days! You really can't go wrong, either if your wanting a romantic dinner, girls night out, or even mon night football..Toast is the place to be and escape all your troubles!! :) Pros: Great food and experience Cons: parking is expensive in garage, but free on weekends.. more

Finally a Cool, Somehwat Trendy Bar & Restaurant in the Valley 1/5/2007

This is somewhat in response to the only other review that was written at the time of this review. My wife and I have been going to Toast for about a year now which equates to about fifteen times. Some times just to have a drink at the bar, other times to have a drink and appetizers or dinner at the bar and a few times in just the restaurant. All the food we have had there has been exceptionally good especially their Toast appetizers are delicious. All the food is quite good and flavorful. The drinks and service have all been very good as well. As far as the crowd goes that is another story. It can be good or bad, empty or packed. It seems very random as to when and who shows up. Since I am always with my wife or a few friends that we have brought along we enjoy the atmosphere. As far as bars in this area go this one is decorated very nice along with plasma televisions to watch a sporting event you can?t go wrong. more

Full of Fuddy Duddies 10/13/2006

We ate there on a Friday night yet you would've thought is was Wednesday in Wisconsin. The place of packed...packed with let's just say a crowd that looked more like a red state kind of crowd rather than a blue state kind of crowd. We thought we had to be the youngest couple in the place-& we're not that young. Menu seemed interesting but the food was flavorless, boring & bland. Limited wine selection of not that great wines & oddly the bar was ""out"" of some basic & popular drink choices-on a Firday night?!?! The service was good, but as great as our waitress was, she couldn't save Toast from being more bland than milk toast. As we were leaving, we found the younger crowd in the bar-still not a hip or happening crowd to say the least, but at least we weren't in AARP land anymore. We will never return or recommend Toast. Pros: Good location, good lighting Cons: Flavorless food served cold, VERY mature crowd, terrible parking situation more
