These guys were great!! We moved on probably the coldest day of the year this winter and they busted their behinds to get it done quickly yet carefully. The guys arrived on time, were very pleasant, worked very hard, and completed the job several hundred dollars below my "will not exceed price" that was quoted. It was a major job with 5 guys and 2 trucks and everything went smooth. I would not hesitate to call them again if/when I move again...great job guys, THANKS! more

My husband and I could not be more pleased with our recent move. The reason for this is because of the professionalism and efficiency of everyone at Prodigy Moving. It all started with the representative Sean that was very helpful and polite. When the movers arrived we were pleasantly surprised, they were careful, courteous, quick, nice and so so efficient! They were very professional from the moment they arrived until they left at the new house. They explained everything to us at each step, and answered any questions we had. They worked quickly, and ended up taking less time for the move than we had anticipated. Our belongings were delivered as promised in the condition they left. Nothing was damaged, not even so much as a scratch on anything !!! After hearing about others moving nightmares it was nice to tell people that ours was like a dream. I will not hesitate to recommend Prodigy to any of my friends and colleagues who are in the market for a professional, high quality moving service. Thanks to Danny & his guys, my moving day was smooth and easy. I had Starving Students scheduled in the morning, but the quote given over the phone was absolutely different than the one when they came over. So, I let them go. My friend referred me to Prodigy Moving and they scheduled the move for the same day and there was no surprises when it came to prices. Movers were EXTREMELY fast and they didn't take a break until the job was done (5 hours later). They didn't complain about the broken elevator or uncomfortable location to load and unload. They professionally protected all items. As a realtor I will definitely recommend them to my clients. Thanks Ben! more

I cannot truly recommend this service anymore highly. They were totally professional in every aspect, extremely accommodating with my dates varying constantly, the communication was totally perfect and instant in trying to determine a final date for pickup, etc. Also, they are very fair in pricing and such an asset to as a local company in every way. I will use them again for everything relating to moving. more

I'll title this one as MARTIN AND HIS GUYS WERE AMAZING! As an interior designer I get lots of odd "projects" thrown at me when least expected - this was a big one...I had 24 hours notice to move the entire contents from a model home in Porter Ranch to another home in Sherman Oaks. A friend had recommended Prodigy Moving to me awhile back, but hadn't had a need for them until a couple days ago. I called and was transferred to Sean as my rep, who was fantastic and extremely helpful. I expressed the urgency and he got me booked for a morning spot the next day. Even though I was given a window of "8AM to 10AM," knowing I was desperate my phone rang promptly at 8AM announcing the movers. I was greeted by Martin, who is now my one and only mover. Again, MARTIN AND HIS CREW ARE AMAZING! Organized, motivated, and helpful, Martin made for me what could have been something overwhelming into an absolute breeze - he and his crew went far beyond the call of duty for me and I couldn't be more appreciative of his efforts. Overall pricing I thought was very fair considering we were transferring an entire household from one location to another, but the service itself was priceless. If you want excellent service, expert and careful moving with a friendly, fun and helpful crew, call Prodigy Moving and ask for Martin and his crew - you can't ask for better! more

Over the past six years, I have moved four different times with Prodigy Movers. They have the best prices I have found in Los Angeles, and they always do a great job. Moving sucks. Especially in this city, where you hear moving horror stories all the time, I did my research. I literally called about 10-15 companies to compare prices, giving them all the exact same inventory list, date, time, etc, to see how they all panned out. I also based a lot of my decision on gut feeling about the company/ppl I spoke with, and of course recommendations. So, hopefully you'll take this rec to heart. :) The move with Prodigy Moving could not have gone smoother. Before the move even began, they were extremely helpful with answering all my questions, as well as supplying us with moving materials, delivering them right to my apartment a few days prior to the move - (there was a fee for the boxes, cheaper than most I found in the city, but no charge for delivery - and MUCH easier than schlepping 20 boxes across town myself!). I didn't know anyone who had used them prior, but had a good feeling when talking to the owner of the company directly regarding my move details. On the day of the move, the crew arrived on time, early in fact, and were ready to go right away, even though my building wouldn't let them use the elevator until 9am - That didn't slow them down one bit - they immediately took action to move boxes onto dollies and stage everything in the hallway. They took special care of all boxes labeled "fragile," as well as furniture items that we were concerned about. They also wrapped up items that were hard to box, such as mirrors, artwork, etc, at no extra charge. They entire crew worked their tails off, moving me out of/into a 1BR apartment, across town, in under 4 hours! They truly made a seemingly stressful experience a very pleasant one. I would recommend them to anyone I know, and would definitely use them again myself. Move details for reference - I had a 1BR apt worth of stuff and it came out to $400 + $60 tip x3 guys...so $580 grand total for great movers. Can't go wrong with that, considering all the other place I called quoted me $800+ for the same amount of stuff! more
