Rich just finished a yard cleaning project for me and we felt so comfortable with him that we will be using him on an upcoming landscaping project.

Rich is a very nice guy, but quality of work is subpar. He ended up having to reimburse me for work he did not complete this summer (2011) and the check he sent me bounced. I ha...

Rich is a crook! I have one review out on this web site so the other he claims are from other upset customers. Rich did not following though on his agreement with us -- I have email trails indicating he would take care of our issues. After 6 months he decided to tell us and our Credit company (CC) he was closing his doors!! HA that was a lie! We would have not had to go the route of our cc if he kept his word. Just take a look at all the reviews on the internet ---- this will give you the facts. He owes people money from not completing work and for bad checks! Funny how he says I should have hired Scott Lawn.... when I paid him to put down the chemical my lawn needed. I ended up hiring scotts the following year and my lawn is looking good. Do hire a company that is run by a one man show --- he is small and has nothing to back up product up. more

Do not Hire -- Bad Business 10/20/2011

We contracted with Pro Worx LLC to completed several lawn projects over the spring/summer season. We selected Pro Worx to meet our needs based on the warranty Mr. Beeler offered. Pro Worx stated the lawn work in mid April 2011 and completed it by the end of April. Within a few weeks of the sod being laid down it started to turn brown. Mr. Beeler of Pro Worx, owner, stopped by several times to address the problems and indicated that he would put down some chemicals. The problem became worst and worst of the weeks and we continued to call Mr. Beeler to address our concerns. His recommendations were to continue to apply chemicals to the lawn to see if it would turn around for the better. With many phone calls and several on site visits we continually requested that Mr. Beeler honner his warranty and replace the sod in the trouble areas. On 9th July Mr. Beeler agreed that our yard did turn for the worst and he proposed that he do a lawn renovation across the trouble areas. His first attempt was to tried placing seed down to see if it would take. It was always my recommendation that we relay sod down as it was a better choice. After Mr. Beeler laid down more soil and seed the little bit of lawn we had went dead. Phone and email contacts over and over again resulted in Mr. Beeler agreeing to replace the sod as his contracted warranted. However, given that it was in the middle of summer we agreed that it was way to hot for new sod to be laid and he would replace it towards the end of summer. After contracting Mr. Beeler, he agreed he would arrive with his crew on 7 Sept to replace the old sod with new sod. The morning of 7 Sept Mr. Beeler called at 0800 to informed us that he would not be able to make it that day due to the fact the sod company could not cut the sod. We agreed that the following week would work for the replacement. Tried contacting Mr. Beeler only to find out he was "broke and closing his company" due to bad times. more

Bad: Not only did he not put dirt under the sod like we had established in the contract, he installed my bricks so poorly the metal brace surrounding the bricks is about an inch higher than the brick AND the bricks are not level. as it is dangerous for my kids to walk on, i asked another contractor to fix his mess and he told me in order to install it correctly, he'd have to re-lay the patio. when he stained my fence, he painted OVER the ornamental handle and hinges. he took no time to do the job with quality.. Other: please, find another contractor and spend a little extra money to get the job done right the first time.. more
