Honest, Dependable, Reliable Auto Care 6/26/2013

Three years ago, I chanced upon Pro Rod Auto Repair. I was pleased to have met Roberto Ponce. He brought me into the repair area, carefully explaining what he would be doing with my car. When I asked for a list of items I needed to repair on my 20 year Toyota Corolla, Roberto made a list from most urgent to least important. When I was involved in a car accident, Roberto guided me toward the best auto purchase. He inspected the cars I considered purchasing and suggested what would be the best auto for me. As a female, Roberto is thoughtful and straightforward, and in no way misleading. He is upfront and honest. My car is always in good condition with his care. He is concerned about my safety on the road. more

Pro-Rod is a Scam 7/24/2012

BEWARE: The owner is rude and unethical and will not repair your vehicle correctly. Don’t be mislead, the owner Robert Ponce will diagnosis your problem, tell you a price to fix it, claim that it’s fixed and then take your money. In reality the vehicle is not fixed properly (i.e. replacement parts or parts that have to be replaced with certain repairs are not replaced but covered with silicon and covered up). When you advise the owner that the problem still exists he will deny it and cover his scam with more deceitful actions. The entire shop is a SCAM. Take you vehicle to real shop with trained mechanics that know how to do their jobs. more
