I do remember this situation as i was the one trying to handle it from the office. I am the owner of the company, and i was on the phone with both the customer and customer's mother. Even thought, normally it would have taken the truck about 20 minutes to reach the destination, and it the truck a little longer to reach the destination, we did drop the whole travel time between the two locations thus compensating for the lost time and frustration. The estimate for the move was for 3 hours, it took the guys 2.5 hours to finish the whole move, so saying that our guys were slow is very misleading. Nothing was damages, every piece of furniture was protected and safely transported. I spent 30 minutes over the phone with a customer trying to explain that driving a loaded moving truck is not the same as driving the car, and if it took the car 10 minutes it might easily take the car 15 minutes. We have hundreds of references from customer who can testify on our behalf and we gladly provide them to each and every customer. If we feel that we are giving a poor service we are more than willing to work with the customer to make sure they are fully satisfied with their relocation, which happened in this particular case.
