I am still suffering from their incompetence 4 years after my cataract surgeries. And that doesn't even begin to go into how uncaring these people are. I had 2 simple cataract surgeries and now have problems in both eyes. \r \r My left eye has large star-bursts whenever lights hit it...making it extremely difficult to drive at night. Dr Felton sold me a "special" lens for my operation that cost an extra $1000 that the insurance didn't cover. He couldn't understand what went wrong. \r \r My right eye is like looking through Vaseline. \r \r They tried a few painful procedures to try to correct the problems and finally told me they didn't know what happened and that I would get used to it if it didn't go away. It didn't go away and I'm still not used to it. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these people. It's all about the money for them. more

I live in NYC but travel to New Jersey just to see them 7/30/2010

I've seen several doctors at the Princeton Eye Group and am very satisfied with all of them. Unlike ""eye doctors"" that you find at glasses shops, these guys all have medical degrees and years of experience of practice (in my case, in a routine eye exam they diagnosed and treated a problem that a non-medical person would never have found in time). Their equipment is all state-of-the-art, and they're friendly to boot. If I had to give a drawback, it's that appointments are sometimes hard to get. It's almost a 2-hour drive from where I am, but it's worth it for my eyes. I make a day of it and just enjoy beautiful Princeton while I'm there. Pros: highly qualified, skilled, lots of experience Cons: getting an appointment sometimes more

Best NJ eye doctors 1/19/2010

I just left a review under one of the individual doctor listings, but I thought I'd leave one for the whole group too. \r \r Over the years, I've been to cheap eye doctors in the mall who aren't really doctors. They gave me wrong prescriptions that made my eyes worse and gave me headaches, and when I complained to them about it, they said nothing was wrong and told me to "let my eyes adjust". \r \r With the Princeton Eye Group (specifically Dr Liu), he gave me glasses with the right prescriptions, and noticed something in my eyes that needed attention before I even knew it was a problem. Once I got the prescription, I got great rimless, bendable frames at the optical shop in the same facility (as someone whoalways falls asleep with his glasses on, this was a godsend)\r \r For something as precious as my eyesight, I really don't trust anyone but the best. It may be hard to get an appointment, but there's a reason why...they're the best in NJ. more
