My daughter and I went to look for a prom dress for her Senior Prom. We were excited with the selections that they offered. My daughter tried on over five dresses and she selected one that she is very happy with. We were approached with nice, friendly, and helpful service. We were both very happy with what we saw and decided to purchase. I also liked the fact that she took it a further step to take the time to log down if anyone else had purchased the same dress from the High School my daughter is attending the prom at to make sure that no one is duplicating the same dress before we made the final purchase. I am absolutely in LOVE with my wedding dress from Princess Brides. After visiting another bridal salon and trying on 8 other dresses, I knew that as soon as I saw this dress on Princess Brides' website, that it would be the most beautiful, unique, and memorable dress I could wear on my wedding day.\r \r When I visited Princess Brides with my mom, the owner Irene was so kind to us even though we did not have an appointment. I showed her 2 pictures of dresses from her website, and my jaw dropped at how beautiful the first dress was once I tried it on. The quality, the feel, the figure-flattering look was amazing. This is a dress that my family, my bridal party, and a few close friends agree is the best dress on me. It was also a great deal considering the quality I was receiving.\r \r Actually, when I was looking at my dress in the mirror, a lady was walking by and came into the store saying how beautiful the dress was. She was getting married in China in a few months, and she said that was the dress that she wanted to wear for her wedding. She had been looking everywhere but this was the prettiest dress. She was actually thinking of postponing her wedding date so that she could wear that dress at her wedding! Like I said, it is the most beautiful dress I've ever worn, which is how your wedding dress should be like.\r \r The owner Irene and her husband Roy made me feel so special and really took the time to help me make the right decisions. They took time to get to know me as a person, and I enjoyed talking story with them. They were a sweet couple who genuinely cared about making a bride look and feel her best on her wedding day. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I purchased my wedding gown here a couple of weeks ago and had a FABULOUS experience!!! My first visit was with my maid of honor. I had a certain style in mind, and Irene and Cheers helped to pull every dress in the shop that matched my exact description. As I tried on the dresses Irene and her husband Roy were keeping my friend company and Roy was telling the story of how they fell in love many years ago. It was absolutely beautiful and made me feel very special and excited about my big day. I tried the dresses on one by one loving each one more than the last. Cheers picked a special dress that she really loved and saved it for last. She told me she was saving it for last because she knew I would love it:) I was having a difficult time deciding which one I liked the BEST because I was so pleased with all of them, any of them really would have made me happy...until i tried on the final gown that Cheers was saving for me. It was absoultely perfect and it was even a little different that the style I had expected to choose. I couldn't believe how great it made me feel and Cheers explained to me that often times, people end up choosing a style different than what they came for. I knew this dress was special when I put it on, but it wasn't until Irene chose a veil and slipped it in my hair that I started to cry. I found the perfect gown and Irene, Roy, and Cheers, along with my maid of honor only affirmed my feelings by standing around with large smiles. The staff at Princess Brides was great, and I will be returning for Brides maid dresses!!!!! more

Irene and the ladies that work at Princess Brides always made me feel like part of their ohana when I came to the shop. They were kind, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. My Maggie Sottero gown was not only exceptional in comparison the the wedding gown I had already purchased from a mainland shop (and then returned), but it was beyond affordable. I was shocked that such a beautiful gown could cost less than $700. I purchased my gown and veil from Princess Brides, had alterations done, AND had my gown cleaned a preserved after my wedding day, all through Irene and her lovely staff. Thanks for the wonderful service and a wonderful price! more

I was EXTREMELY happy with my dress from Princess Brides!! The staff was extremely helpful in helping me choose a dress that flattered my figure. Even when Irene couldn't be there, the other employees were there and provided fantastic tips/recommendations for altering the dress. My mother came from the mainland about 2 months before my wedding; although my dress wasn't in yet, they happily made me an appointment to show my mom the dress on the floor so that she'd get to see what it looked like. Overall, the staff is beyond helpful and has SO many good and useful ideas!! more

I love Princess Brides! Irene and Roy were very welcoming when I went into their shop for the first time. Roy was very helpful is giving me suggestions and comments about the dresses I was trying on. I was very please with the outcome. I rented my dress and accessories from Princess brides and I believe I got a good deal. I got a dress, veil, tiara, earings, necklace, and shoes with alternations and cleaning all for $650.00 plus tax. I really liked my dress. It was simple yet elegant and I got alot of compliments on it. I felt very comfortable in it although I originally didn't think I was going to get a strapless dress. \r Princess Brides was very supportive and helpful in helping me choose my dress as well as my bridesmaids' dress. I really appreciated their help and Irene is so helpful and good nature. more

Alright so maybe my experience was the exception...but I loved this place! I had prepared myself after reading the reviews, but needed to check it out for myself. Long story short, I found my wedding dress there and ended up renting it because overall it would've been cheaper and let's face it...What the heck do people do with their dresses afterwards anyway? Besides store it for 20 years to have your daughter tell you that she doesn't want to wear it for her wedding. So I got my dress, shoes, necklace, earrings, tiara and veil for me...AND my groom's tux for a reasonable price. All of that together costed me less than what I would've paid just for the dress if I had bought it (it was a Maggie Sottero). \r Anyway, from my first visit to the subsequent ones for fittings etc., the girls and the owners (yes, even the man that is consistently referred to as ""rude"") were always attentive and friendly. I can see how he could be misunderstood, but I appreciate honesty and straightforwardness. I welcomed his comments. They accomodated my every request and even allowed us to return everything late, with no extra charge, as we were getting married in another state. Yes, the girls come in the dressing room with you, but it's to HELP YOU not ogle you. Last time I checked, we all had the same goods. \r I went a total of 5 times through browsing, fittings, pickup and dropoff. I saw the dog ONCE. And it was sleeping in the corner. It doesn't smell like dog either. You wouldn't even know it was there if not for the bowl of food and water. \r Stop being a Bridezilla ladies and enjoy YOUR experience IN the dress. Never mind all the nonsense stuff. more

I give this place 5 stars only because of the cute variety of prom dresses they have here! Before coming here, I had gone to a numerous number of prom dress stores that have only little selection of the 'modern' dresses that are popular nowadays. Walking into here, I IMMEDIATELY saw tons of potential prom dresses that I wanted to try on at that very moment. After reading the previous reviews here on Yelp, I agree that some things in this store are quite strange (especially the dog that I ALMOST stepped on only because it looked like a carpet rug and the strange guy that sits by the dressing room and just rambles) but dresses wise, they have beautiful prom dresses here! I didn't get the male associate that everyone's talking about here, but I got a young female associate who really helped me out in picking my dress. The lighting at the dress room is nice because it really highlights your features and they have trying-on shoes in many sizes that makes you more comfortable. Overall, I love Princess Brides and would come back again! more

It was my first day wedding dress shopping and I actually walked in instead of making an appointment. Surprisingly they were nice enough to take me in. Irene listened and picked out a couple dresses she thought I would like. She treated me like a princess and that is how all brides should feel like when coming into a bridal shop. I did find an absolutely fabulous dress that can potentially be ""THE DRESS"" but since it was my first shop I went to I decided not to take it just yet. If I don't find a dress from any other shops I go to, I will for sure be back to buy that dress I tried on from Princess Brides. Amazing customer service! more

You really have such incredible talent just by looking at person to find the right size and shape and being on point about a fixed budget.\r \r \r I honestly was skeptic at first about renting and then when I found that the first dress wasn't the ""one"" it took a second time around and you found such an incredible dress I truly fell in love with and decided to buy! Only bad part was the day of the wedding while tying me up into the dress, my matron of honor broke the top loops of the dress that I had to be pinned in to have the dress tightened! I really was a wreck! But as the day went by, it really was such a beautiful dress that everyone else seem to love it too! I really thank you and your staff for everything!
